was the rubbish one hp ?
No this was a proper lab. The HP use a "dry lab", it is pretty much a big inkjet printer.
I think the only proper labs around these days are Fuji and a well known company starting with K.
I did some of the same prints on the fuji lab at a DSE and took them into clive anthonys as theirs were rubbish. I asked if they had balanced the paper and run the calibration on the machine and they maintain it is done every morning (i have run a minilab in the past so i knew what they should be doing).
Can these prices be had if photos were uploaded in-store at a kiosk? I realize the webpage only says "order online now" so i'm assuming not.
I saw an ad in the paper saying 9c in store till the 4th of October.
Years ago I took prints to harvey norman and they were done on the spot with one of their kiosk machines . Came out looking like there was a monkey with crayons in the kiosk doing the prints . I might give them another go . Been happy with HP . If you go on the Kmart photo site and pre purchase 500 prints it works out to 10cents a print , Less if you factor in the first 50 free for signing up .
They used to have thermal based printers. (some stores still do i think) I hated the prints on them.
The mini labs are totally different. Most stores would have minilabs by now.
sweet, thanks for post- just ordered pics online for the first time :).
nice and easy online system, very straight forward. 10 days for pick up in store. good stuff.
ordered my 15 prints on 05/09 and still waiting for them to arrive at the local HN store.
don't trust the 10 days pickup time frame.
Pretty sure the ad on TV just said it is via online or instore orders. If that is correct you should be able to make your order instore as well.
I prefer snapfish. With coupons you can always get it down cheap.
IS THIS ONLINE ONLY OR CAN I DO IT INSTORE AS WELL?
CHEERS-
Fuji lab prints are great (what harvies use). Took my photos to a competitor lab at "clive anthonys" once and they were junk.
