Dreamworld were offering a Buy 3 get 1 free ticket deal for their annual passes, but it looks like for July, they are offering all adult tickets at roughly the same price when you buy individually.

Yeah, I don't think it will ever be funny. It was a horrible accident, people died, children lost parents, families were left broken, staff and patrons who witnessed it have will be stuck with the memories forever.
The park is still not the same, patronage always seems to be down when we are there. Several rides have been closed down since the accident. Dreamworld employs about 1000 people, I'm guessing a lot of them are casuals who's hours get cut back when numbers are down. The Queensland media seems to have a helicopter over the park every time a ride is closed or there is an issue, and the way they report these things wouldn't be encouraging people to return.

I got a 7 days for the price of 1 for my family back in April. My kids are 6 and 8 and we hadn't had a decent holiday in a while.
We ended up going to Dreamworld for 3 days in a row, skipped a day, then went another 2 days. We had the best time together as a family.
I was saddened, like most everyone else, to hear of the deaths of Cindy Low, Kate Goodchild, Luke Dorsett and Roozbeh Araghi on the Thunder River Rapids ride in late 2016, but what can you do? Accidents happen. Would you avoid a particular road because there was a fatal accident on it at one time? I don't think so.
We said a prayer for the departed people, and asked that we be granted a safe day there. Whether or not there was anyone listening is up for debate, but we did walk away unscathed, with many happy memories of Dreamworld and White Water World.
This is a great price for a season pass, assuming the park stays open for the term of the passes.
