  Very. Two out of the big four producers. But on VS or VSOP level, they are not that different. Great for mixing or if you need quantity. Martell VSOP $71 ($60 something at Costco) is good too, which I prefer to drink neat.

    What do you mix Cognac with? I'm definitely a scotch guy so which would you recommend out of the two?

      Sidecar. Equal parts of Cognac, Cointreau, lemon juice.
      
      I'm a Cognac guy, so I'd buy one each just to stock up. But if I have to choose just one I'd just get the VSOP.
      
      Use a tulip snifter. Glencairn whisky glass is good. One ice cube per nip would be fine as well.
