  • What additional charges apply? Per game charges?

    • Hi Tightwad,

The only additional charge is court hire (unless you, or your opponent have a free court local to you). Obviously this cost is dependent on where you choose to play. Court hire is split 50 / 50 between players.

      Hope this helps!

      Thanks, Tom

      • Thanks

        • you have to buy balls too right?

  • What do I get for my $25?

    • Hi Hellfire,

      You get..

      1) The opportunity to play in a singles comp, with groups organised based on playing ability and experience
      2) The opportunity to play at a variety of different courts
      3) The opportunity to schedule your matches flexibly (great for FIFO workers, shift workers, for those who can't commit to playing every week at the same time, and to those who just like a flexible schedule :-) )
      4) You get to play, and meet, new and different players all the time!

Our competition is friendly and social, whilst also allowing people to measure their improvement through playing in a league system.

      Hope this helps!

      Thanks, Tom

      • So it's just a scheduling system? and I still need to pay court fees?

        • correct, you need to organise courts and tennis balls

  • Will I get an ATP ranking?

  • +3

Will I get a £35,000 cheque for being bored and losing in the first round?

    • -2

No. But if you are optimistic, you might meet some pretty girl players which could turn into long-term friendships. Or if you are a girl….you are definitely gonna meet alot of good looking gentlemen.

      (……all wishful thinking)

      • wtf

        • Believe me or not…..majority of people who use OZTENNIS league are more into the social aspect and exercise in general. So I would treat it as a socializing platform where you meet new friends for a casual hit.

If you are after something more serious, then any internal/in-club fixture or other leagues organized by a proper association would be the way to go. But again, that would cost you lot more in rego. Hardcore players only hit with their hardcore friends.
