First post here so feel free to correct/update. Mymaccas app showed a new reward today: Free McCafe Coffee with any purchase. Enjoy it with $5 McFeast :)

I have literally downloaded - uninstalled - redownloaded multiple times and each time my screen has photos with virtually no text. I have given up trying to use it.
Interestingly, I haven't had any problems with the iPhone app yet.
The Android app is a terror. 1.9 stars because it's so buggy.
Currently the only items I can order are chicken nuggets and shakes. According to my app, Maccas has no hamburgers.
I had that bug - could only order a 10 pack of nuggets or a banana thickshake.
Surprised it's managed to get as high as 1.9 stars tbh - the deals are good but the tech is awful
Clearing cache worked for me BUT note the big download required when u reopen the app.
Probably android app. I have it on iOS and love it.
I dont use it that often but when I do 50/50 it crashes or works. i just rush through the order so I get it done before it crashes haha

Dammit. Before the app came out I had only been to maccas once in the last six months. Since these deals started popping up it is like once a week minimum!!! Damn you McDonalds for making such yummy food and combining it with deals and freebies!!!!

It would take away the medium meal tab and show the golden meal.

Ugh. Have uninstalled the mymaccas app (android). Could only make it work maybe 20% of the time at best… Constantly crashed or wouldn't load properly. Shame as the few times I actually got it to work I got some great deals with the Golden Meals…

The mcfeast deal is only on self serve machines in my experience. So you can't get the free drink with it as drink is on app.
App lets you scan at kiosk

Yep, offer shows up on Home tab and near the bottom when on the page for the drink after opting in for subscription.

McFeast $5 meal isn't available on anyone's app according to McDonald's own terms and conditions. "In-store only. Excludes McDelivery and mobile ordering."
All I can order is Shakes & Frapes!! I can see the offer but what is the point??

I cleared cache and that didn't do much except now just Classics shows instead of Nuggets and Shakes/Frappes. Need to clear apps data too?

A lot of stores the drink is at a different counter (mc cafe part)
Rather than waste 30 cents, better to put it towards a soft serve or $1 hamburger.

WORST. APP. EVER. Kept getting a check in error. Spent ages trying to fix it. Ended up just scanning the code at the kiosk.

I got one earlier today! Actually no need to buy from app. You can just tell them you saw a promo of free drink in the internet. Then they will give you free drink. Nice!

For anyone that's having the same problem as I was. You have to create a new account. It looks like this promo is valid for one use per account.

Small McFeast meal without meat + large coffee for $2.75 (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/315611). Alternatively add a couple $1 hamburgers to make it $4.75.
Just used mine now- can customise your hot drink and pay for adding extra something
I got Large Latte with extra shot espresso=40 cents
Can also get hot chocolate with marshmellow for 40 cents
I noticed this as well when I tried to add caramel flavouring, so I got a caramel latte for 70c instead.

Anyone else having trouble with the ignorant staff at the drive-through? When you place the order and pay through the app it clearly states to drive through and just give your order no.
With my first 2 orders the boy at the drive through register had to call their manager to process the order(didn't bother me as the app had just come out). Oh, they also asked me if I had already paid!!!
With the last 2 orders I had to give the order no. then tell the guy my detailed order, proceed to the next window where I was asked again what my order was in detail and finally I was asked to park on the waiting bay! all this for a bottle of water, a quarter pounder and medium chips.
NOTE: Whenever I open the app, it claims it can never connect. The solution is to search for it in the Google Playstore (it will show "installed"), touch it, and then click OPEN. Yes, I know it makes zero sense. But it works every time.
The app is getting more and more buggy.. Crashes all the time.
