So for 1 hour yesterday they were offering this subscription for $10 USD which is very cheap. Unfortunately, it's over however they are offering a 2017 MLB Premium Subscription for $20.17 USD (~$26 AUD). This is still an amazing price that they usually only offer around August or September (see previous deals).
This will give you access to the remainder of the 2017 regular season (until Oct 3) + Postseason (Until end of Oct, World Series starts Oct 24).
- You don't need a VPN or DNS blocker (Blackout restrictions apply if you're within a region of a team's home game. e.g. US).
- There is an MLB app which you can cast to your Chromecast.
- They have condensed games, watch multiple games at once, watch games with home, away, or radio commentary.
- You have access to all games including playoffs and The World Series.
You probably won't see it dip below this price until August/September. The subscription runs until March 1 but there isn't much on after October. This is a limited time deal to coincide with the 4th of July holiday (see MLB.com). Make sure to cancel your subscription and don't auto renew. Easy to do but if you do forget they should refund you.
If you go on Twitter, you can search for buying groups (search mlb.tv 30%) which allows up to 30% off if you join with 3 or more people. So I snagged my subscription for $14.12 USD ($~18AUD). Unfortunately, these links only last 48 hours.
