Use it almost on a daily basis. I rarely turn on the oven since purchasing this. Everything tastes much better than cooking in the microwave.

you can't fry ice-cream with it. So you become less fat.
Yeah, very similar. However the air fryer seems to have better air flow, everything turns out much more crispy.

I just bought an airfryer at harvey norman literally 4 hours ago.. And have cooked like 10 different things in it so far.. And im completly amazed.. About 1/4 of the cooking time of a normal oven. Everything is way more crispy. Uses a small fraction of the power. the fan force is much stronger than an oven so it get hot VERY quickly So it acts More like a 'fry' when its actually just baking very quickly.
I cant wait to cook roast pork/crackling in this thing

I assume something that gets that hot dies fast?
It maxes out at 200 degrees, but cooks faster through the use of high speed fan.
Fan+heat usually means dead fans. But hey I hate cleaning fryers at home so if it does 80% as good it's worth my cash.
So far so good for me. If it lasts 1 year, you got your moneys worth.
Is there anyway to select colour on these units? Just ordered one and am assuming it's white (I couldn't find an option for red or black).
I got the white one, it is quite plain. I wouldn't get the black one. Cheap looking white is better than cheap looking black.
