Been using their down vest for a year now, very warm indeed. Love how it stores away in a small package.

        That's what she said

  • Suitable for NZ ?

    • +1

Nah, NZ customs won't let you through with Aldi products.

      • hahah :P nice.. Nah I think I'm personally heading to Kathmandu to check there jackets out

I'm not sure if I'm reading this correctly. What are the materials used to make this? I don't believe it would be anything natural if it's $50 for the jacket. I have a Patagonia branded men's jacket and it nearly costs $600 but that's got goose feathers inside. I'm excited to get another one and this Audi branded one could be it. Any serious reviews? Is it good for the snow?

    • You should have bought your Patagonia jacket when they had 30% off.

I take it you missed the recent $8.50 offers. Real down by all reports but "ultralight".

Hand in your Ozbargain membership then. Quality Macpac down jackets are regularly listed here for under $100.

      • Yes, I must've missed that. I didn't see it on the hot deals.

Lmao hand over my ozbargain membership. I don't mind paying high price for high quality reputable branded clothing. Not saying Mackay isn't though.

I paid $150 for the Patagonia equivalent of this Aldi jacket, $600 sounds like made up Kathmandu prices.

Some dude in San Francisco stole my Aldi puffy jacket out of my rental car.. finally able to replace it!

I just wanted to warn people that these aren't the kind that strippers wear.

Bought one last year, pretty good quality and warm for Australian winter. The only complaint is there is no down in the hood which folds in the collar.

Can anyone post up the entire catalogue?

  • I like the sound of zip-off leisure pants. :-)

  • +2

Very happy with the vest I bought last year. Suitable for late autumn and early winter I'd say.

Can someone tell me if these are comparable to the macpac ones? I've been looking at gettting one but happy to save $50 if they're similar
