Fair warning guys 6k/3k ratings is shit, I would not wear that at the snow at all, its more of a slightly waterproof jacket. Even the aldi snow gear has better ratings than that and trust me the quality of your gear plays a huge part in the enjoyability of the day.

i had 10,000 ratings and it still got wet after a day out on the snow, so as nmachine said i woudln't coun ton 6k/3k being great. IT'd do if you stay on your board all time and on a non wet day.. short of that i agree, i just soldier on, but having dry clothes does feel nicer. Worse one is gloves, taking those off to wet sloppy fingers and trying to put them on is the worse. Nothing better than the day i bought a goretex waterproof gloves. Somewhat too snug/tight a fit - but for what i could find up in the shop at tha ttime on holidays im glad i got it. You don't know what you've been missing till you get something better.
