I play this game from time to time. But I didn't notice any multiple troops moving issues.

Yes. Very fixed. Games very very rarely drop now. Though, sometimes they lag. But, what would an AOE game be like without a little lag…. haha
The netcode was really broken, and honestly I'd be really surprised if it was fixed, though I haven't tried it in ages
I play on a 2015 Macbook Air and it runs alright on 8 player 200 pop count. Can get slow but not unplayable.

just so everyone knows, this game is getting a massive makeover and being re-released not too far from now. It will be named "Age of Empires: Definitive Edition"

The aoe series have so many changes throughout the 3 separate games. 3 felt the most odd, despite it being basically the same thing.
Yeh, 3 sucked. 2 was the standout

Not all deals are actually great deals and many games are still above their all-time lowest price.

Unfortunately this version is still terrible if you want to play online, I don't know about single player.
If you want to play online you're better off getting the original version and playing on voobly.

I always heard the priest converting sound as "Nu-nu-nuuuuuuu", not Wololo
I actually originally heard NiNiNi… that's my steam name haha. I've had arguments with friends about it in the mid 2000s until they showed me the name of the sound file (wololo)!
I used to have that sound file as my SMS ringtone. No one ever recognised it though. But I did get a lot of people wondering WTF that noise was.
