Higher end bikes don't come with pedals :) Rider will choose the type of pedals (out of many) later.
So the bike isn't ride away price?
It is. You have to buy the pedals separately. You may get a discount.
Previous deal was $999
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/300533that's the SL1 (105), this is Dura Ace
Not necessarily..
Front Derailleur Shimano Ultegra 6800
Rear Derailleur Shimano Dura Ace 9000
Shifters Shimano Dura Ace 9000 22-Speed with Shimano Gear cables
Brake Levers Shimano Dura Ace, with Shimano Brake cables
Cassette Shimano 105 5800 12-25T 11-SpeedAs this is a high end spec bike, you'd think it might as well come without the wheels (ref pedals)! I would have spent an extra on matching wheels (+1k easy) & cassettes to go with the dura ace.
Man.. those online Canyons are looking more & more attractive!
I don't know much about bikes. Are you saying the Dura Ace worth the extra $1000 ?
@pcdokan: On this particular bike, it isnt worth $1,000 because you're only getting the rear derailleur, shifters and brake levers as Dura Ace.
From Shimano 105 > to Full Dura Ace 11 speed groupset with di2 (electric shifters). I would say that's worth a $1000 upgrade.
Thanks mate
@mikaelkn: Canyons?
I can understand swapping a DA cassette for a 105, not only is is cheaper but its more durable, but why the FD?They aren't that expensive…
I'm finding it hard to see $2,000 value in any bike without an electric motor and battery bank inside it.
Try doing a 100km ride under your own steam! Your life will never be the same again. :)
As long as it's not uphill :)
How big is the engine?
How big are you?
Big enough to want a motor for that kind of money…
Had my eye on this but need to ship interstate. Whilst pondering was offered a 2017 model defy adv pro 0 for $4k from my local shop, nice looking bike with carbon wheels and di2 but is another $2k. Makes me wonder if the corsa was justified with its original $4k price tag when compared to the defy.
theres something funny with this bike. theres no pedals
