eBay - Free 99c Listings WITH GALLERY - This Weekend

220

I think this is only for people who didn't list anything for free last weekend using that offer as I only got this on a second account I dont use much.

Guess a couple of ebay accounts have their benefits occasionally!

  • Nice, got this email too, great deal :).

  • Yup, got this email as well…perfect timing for me since I planned on listing a few things!

  • Appears to be everyone, I've changed your link OP, http://pages2.ebay.com.au/OIF99c_auctions_free_gallery

      I thought I was special :(.

    • I disagree:

"Members who do not receive an email, message in My eBay or do not see a banner inviting them to take part in this Promotion are not eligible to participate."

pfff just checked out ebay's fees! If you end up selling the item they take 8% for anything between $100-500 so for an item that u would sell for $500 they would take $40… thats ridiculous!

your negative relates to ebay's fees and not this specific bargain, though i agree that ebay's fees can be excessive

      • as per bigsue's comment, i understand your concern, but its not a valid negative.

    • radem12 - You pay for the exposure.

  • I'm going to have to sell some junk this weekend.

  • The T&C's appear to state that you must receive the e-mail or see & click on a promotional banner on the site - Darn, I would have liked to list another 30 items this weekend.

  • Poop, I got a different email and I didn't list anything last weekend either! What a dud offer…

'We know you missed out on the recent free insertion fees promotion, but it's not too late to list your items and receive a $5 voucher.

This weekend, 18 - 19 September 2010, we're offering a $5 voucher when you list an item in auction format starting at 99c or below.

List an item using auction format, starting at 99c or below, from 18-19 September 2010 and receive a $5 discount voucher to use on eBay.com.au from 25 - 29 September. The voucher is valid for $5 off the item price, when you spend AUD $50 or more, excluding postage and handling.'

Again, need to receive email to be eligible

    • "Qualifying Members" for the purpose of this voucher Promotion are sellers who listed at least one item using Auction listings with a starting price of 99 cents or below within the promotional period and are invited via email or my eBay to participate. Persons whose eBay accounts have been temporarily or indefinitely suspended or made inactive during the Promotion, are not eligible for this Promotion.

  • Meh. I didn't get any email from eBay

  • I got the first free listing / free gallery email. I find you only get these deals on accounts that are inactive or close to it. You never get deals on any active selling accounts. In order words, eBay penalises the users that keep it in business and reward the ones that don't. Hmmmm….

So…..if you want to get these offers, I'd recommend to set up a new account, sell one thing on it (to yourself if need be), pay the fees, and then never use it again….that is until you get the free offers.

    • What rubbish. My account (rating 892) has sold about 30 items in the last three weeks and I got both 99c listing emails.

  • If it says you either had to receive an email or click a banner, wouldn't the banners be on the site so anyone could click them?
