    Inb4 Price hikes

    • Too late. Futu Online i7-7700k $456 after discount, MSY $477 normal price. Because people normally pay $570 for it :p

      • -2

Dodgy, but still cheaper than MSY, so we can't complain too much.

    • -1

      Inb4 Price Hikes

No one likes getting Price's sloppy seconds.

    • -7

      Price rise scam.

Nintendo switch for $589.99 before discount
      http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nintendo-Switch-/222539458374?var…

      • Proof?

      • -1

lol 87.5% rating, who in their right mind would even consider purchasing from them anyway

      • +1

wow that's more than rrp even after discount.

      • -1

How is a seller hiking the price a Neg on this post

        • +1

when you jack up the price to where both the jacked price is beyond RRP and the Discount price is also more expensive then the competition, it is a deal worthy of a big neg

        • -1

          @spaceknightROM:

when you jack up the price

just because one seller increased their price on one item, does not mean they ALL did…

the deal posted here is not what you linked to above.

  • anybody know if Futu provides a tax invoice?

    • +1

      Yes

      • -2

        thanks…

        How about sydneytec?

        • yep bought from both of them before

  • Couldn't Ebay post their lists in alphabetical order?

  • +14

Yay another 5% off price jacking sale!

  • Can't complain about 20%.

    • +7

You can't complain about getting 20% off, to be sure, but complaining about claims of getting 20% off, that's another matter …

  • +1

How do I get the link to search all the sellers?

    • +4

Wait for someone to post it.

    • +15
      • +1

Thanks.. How do you do that?

        • Click through the OP and there's a search bar. Just pressed search and grabbed the URL.

        • +3

There's actually a "Search the sale" box on the OP's link about 1/3rd the way down the page.

If you click on the search button without any search terms it will redirect to a direct search link.

  • +1

Patiently waiting for the search link to search the stores! Thanks OP

  • when's storewide?

  • Want to buy camera from ShoppingSquare shipped from HK. Do I have to pay tax when it arrives here??

    • depends what the value is declared as when/if it goes through customs.

    • tax limit is 1000 dollars afaik.

  • +2

The search link for all stores is already half way down the page, is it not?

  • -8

Looks like this code isn't ready yet. Please try again later.

    • +5

      Starts 4pm

    • please be silent bob

  • +6

Looks like a lot of price jacking has occurred already

  • +1

I wonder how much anxiety this creates amongst ebay shoppers and ozbargainers resulting in buying things they don't really need. I would be in that camp if I didn't have any money to spend :)

  • They do this to me every time my wallet starts to recover!

  • I'm getting the error "Looks like this code isn't ready yet. Please try again later.

    • ok, I saw that it starts 4 pm

  • C'monnnn 20% off storewide.

    • Not in this next week while this sale is on, anyway.

  • +6

Pretty sure the stores are just taking advantage of this never ending 'sale' now.

    eg Panasonic 55" 4K TV.

$1,773 on ebay pre-discount ($1,463 including the $45 delivery fee and '20% discount')
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Panasonic-55-TH55EX600A-4K-Ultra-…

Directly from the store is $1,488 with free shipping.
    https://www.videopro.com.au/p-10786-panasonic-55-th55ex600a-…

Harvey 'normally-double-the-price' Norman is $1,495 with free delivery, wall kit and installation.
    http://www.harveynorman.com.au/tv-blu-ray-home-theatre/tvs/t…

So it is really 1.5% off their normal price (or a little more expensive than Harvey Norman if you want the free wall mount… Which hasn't been said around here very often lately!)

    • yeah, prices increased or items disappearing :(
or in case of Umart "seller is on holiday until 1 july". so bad.

  • Any good mid-upper range graphics card deals? Around the $425 mark

    • GTX1070 should around that price

EDIT: Doesn't look like there's any cheap ones through the sellers mentioned. I got mine for ~$550 about 6 months ago from amazon, there should be some for <$500 by now. Great mid-high range card

    • i am looking for a graphic card as well, now prefer the MSI GAMING X 1060 6gb, but it disappears in almost all stores now.

      • Head's up, now that the 1070's are gone, miners are talking about buying 1050ti's an 1060's, so be quick

  • Which store would be best to buy a Huawei Mate 9, as in which stores are Oz based and therefore are held to Oz consumer laws?

Want a 64gb Huawei Mate 9, don't care about colour.

    Cheers

  • +3

Nice, looks like they're upping their prices again lol, phone from $638.10 to $709… lame!!

  • +1

The last CRACKA20, I bought a Bose Comfort 20 At $264 (delivery included) from Instyle Hi Fi Online. Good deal if anyone is after the Bose qc20.

  • +2

50 + comments saying price jack, yet ~100 upvotes already… OzCatalogue welcome!

  • +1

Thinking of buying a this laptop http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Asus-Zenbook-UX430UQ-14-FHD-i5-25…

I notice it has the usual Asus proprietary charging port, but also a usb-c port. Would I be able to charge the laptop via my xiaomi powerbank connected via usb-c?

    • +1

Have to look at the output of the powerbank vs the draw of the UX430UQ I know some have tried to do the same with Macbooks, XPS 13 range and haven't had the best of success due to not enough amps

  • Again! Lifted the price from $110.61 to $122.90 at 4pm!

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SanDisk-Ultra-200GB-Micro-SDXC-mi…

  • +5

shoppingsquare increased the price of the vacuum from $435 to $478.

I was in the cart with a price of 340 after discount. But got an error after I clicked pay!!!!

    • That's so shit. How do they continue to get away with it!??!

      • It's eBay seller man… they watched their prices like an eagle ^_^ lol

  • again…
    really?

  • +6

Grays Online not in this one. Their price jacker must be on annual leave.

  • If you were hoping for 20% sitewide in the next week your hopes just went up in flames ….

  • +1

still waiting for that magic $800 1080ti

  • Any custom search link just for the listed retailers?

    • Dw, found it on the page linked to in the OP

  • Jumped on the Bose qc35 bandwagon!

    • where did you get it from?

      • Avgreatbuys

  • Any pro here could suggest a HT setup with projector, screen & sound system from the ebay sale? Much appreciated!

  • +1

Anyone care to post a comment with a list of those stores with the known price-jackers in italics or something?

Doesn't say whether it's Australian Stock, but $900 for S8+ is tempting

  • +1

Hahahahah ok so the laptop I was eyeing from computer_alliance is now "out of stock" despite no purchases today at all, but there was plenty before 4pm

    • They removed the Philips 43" 4K monitors from their ebay store :(

  • +1

I wonder how many people have multiple accounts on here and how many people use the multi's to multi upvote…. cause I reckon these deals are shit

    • +2

In your view the deals are shit, but not to others. Like this one and this one. Sure there is plenty of price jacking, some at normal price, some more expensive and others marginally cheaper, but amongst all the crap there are genuine deals. Time will tell with the related tab.

      • I suppose at the end of the day we each have to choose if we go for a small discount giving the cheapest price for an item we want, or if we boycott those sellers entirely for misleading advertising.

(edit: Sorry, read again, my comment isn't really relevant to what you said)

        • There are always a few genuine deals. I recently picked up a video card for the same price as international Amazon sellers.

      • Yeah fair enough, kudos to the OP and anyone that finds a great deal then I guess.
It's a bit like 'hey, dig through this tiny segment of the market and find a deal…. but hey make sure you do your homework because we've tampered with the prices'.
Definitely people with multi accounts on here tho, my guess is there are some decent kick backs cause it seems alot of trouble goes into selling, sorry… SHARING some of the deals.
