just keeps saying 'couldn't find any car parks around your destination". I live 5 minutes from melbourne airport.. App fail, glad I didn't spend 4bux on it else i'd be pissed :D
I really dont know why people keep putting free iphone apps as a Bargain, there are apps going free all the time, just download the App on your iphone called "App Shopper" or "Free app tracker", and you will always know what's FREE, to me this is pointless to advertise once you get those apps cause you know straight away whats free, this Apps been free since early this morning. Maybe I should advertise those apps on Ozbargain and see how many votes I get, THE ONE APP THAT SHOWS YOU ALL THE FREE APPS
Just looked up those two apps, reviews say it's only for US App Store only - doesn't apply to AUS?

Yeah, I meant it displays apps in US prices, etc. Not that you can't get it, more it doesn't seem useful.
Mate download it I got this cheap parking app from it today, they basically show up anything that goes free or on special straight away. regardless off country, I've seen greek german french and aussie apps go on this. believe me you wont regret it.

I have been using AppShopper for months now (and got the AppShopper App the hour it was released) and i had CarPark Info in my watch list since i found it a month ago, pondering whether to get it or not, i got an email saying it had been updated and dropped in price so i pounced on it, haven't needed to use it yet though.
As mentioned elsewhere, this is a bargain-hunting app that genuinely saves you cash-in-hand (as opposed to, say, giving you free apps and crap). And the app has been discounted to boot, so it really meets ozbargain criteria in that technicality as well.
There should be more posts about apps that save you physical, real-life cash-in-hand on ozbargain, not less. Say, for example, like a fuel bargain app if there was one.

You don't seem to understand, this is a bargain-hunting app in itself, that is discounted to boot.
It's a double-bargain. It has just found me two cheaper parking locations than where I currently go, as well as one that is much closer to work for only $2 more.
I don't see why the neg is justified in any way, the post has just saved me money in more ways than one for quite some time into the future (ie. as long as the app continues to be supported) and submissions like this one should be encouraged.

Whilst not really an "Ozbargain" kind of bargain… I grabbed this. I paid $45 for 1 hr and 10 mins of parking in Sydney today… what mongrels! So hopefully this app will make me happy or a bit less poor LOL
It's not the ozbargain post in the traditional sense; however this is an application that helps you park your car for a bargain, and now this application is free, therefore I would argue this more than qualifies in this website.
