  • $100 spend? Is delivery included?

Sorry I am a noob and have never purchased from Woolworths online before.

  • Can you have multiple woolies accounts?

    • +1

You can, but you'll eventually get caught and blacklisted. Remember reading about it in the forum a while ago.

    • +4

You can have multiple Woolworths accounts but Cashrewards will only allow one 'new Woolworths customer cashback' per Cashrewards account. So if you want the $40 multiple times then you need to either setup a new Cashrewards account each time, or use PricePal cashback which doesn't have this limitation.

Regarding getting caught for having multiple accounts and being blacklisted, that previous forum thread the user bragged about having 163 (?) Woolworths accounts and I recall they put the same details across each. Seems a bit far fetched to me. I personally have ordered 21 times getting the new Woolworths customer $30/$40 cashback (via PricePal) without problems. I do click & collect so can use a different billing address, email address & DOB each time. Has worked so far.

Bit close to the edge of fraud for my liking. But good luck to you mate.

        • Ok then can u haven multiple cash rewards accounts then multi Woolworths accounts?

        • +2

@DEvok: Not sure why you're replying to my comment? It's not something I would need to do.

        • @DEvok:

          No, you will get caught….eventually

        • @lovepub: Correct. You will get caught after you make 163 new Woolworths Online accounts (approximately $5,000 cashback received).

        • +1

          @tomclancy:

i should quit what I am doing and become a Brodener

        • @lovepub: Yeah - puts it into perspective a bit ;)

  • So new woolworths customers? not new cashreward customers? opps saw the details, new woolworths customers!

    • +1

New Woolworths and New Cashrewards accounts if you intend to make multiple claims.

      • I created a Woolworths account 5-6 months back, but have never bought anything. Is my account eligible for this?

        • Your first shop is your first shop

  • What do you think would happen to the $5 cashback if W's out of stock on items and total purchase falls below $50 ?

    • +2

In the past I've still received the cashback

    • Woolworths tend to refund in the form of voucher code when items are out of stock(or damaged when received) after purchase/payment. So this will not affect your cashback. You can use the voucher code in your next transaction.

  • +1

Can you simply buy a $100 gift card and get the cash back?

    • +2

Nope, they exclude that in the T&C's

      • OK thanks, but in the cash rewards T&C's it only says that not applicable if paid by gift card.

Is there another page of T&Cs from Woolies I'm missing?

I'm thinking of buying a $100 JB Hifi digital card.

        • "Woolworths WISH Gift Cards are a valid form of payment"

        • +3

          @Peck:

It sounds like there's some confusion between PAYING with a giftcard (which is fine) vs BUYING a giftcard (which is not fine).

  • +3

Any idea if BWS is included? Id struggle to spend $100 at Woolworths, unless I could order a slab of beer to go with my groceries…

    • +2

I can only see: Excludes flowers, tobacco and Delivery Saver items.
      Anyone?

      • Where did you see this? I can only see excluding gift cards.

    • I think it's included. Last time I used this offer, I bought a few wives but they're priced much higher than liquor places.

      • +2

        I bought a few wives

        o.0

  • There is another offer too - $15 off first purchase and up to $40 cashback on $150+ spend.
    https://www.cashrewards.com.au/coupons/get-15-off-plus-free-…
Not used cashreward before, what does "up to" mean?

    • +1

it means if you spend $150 and you will get $15 off by using this code: AA0417B and free shipping you are new customer and you also get $40 cash back.

      • does not "up to $40" mean it can be less than $40 too?

        • if you are not "New customer"

  • +1

How is "NEW CUSTOMER" defined? I have had a woolies account for a while but I havent used it to make any purchases…. can someone point me to the Ts and Cs?

    • It does not say "new customer", it says on "1st shop", so I think you are eligible. I am on the same boat :)

      • @ishential maybe should change the title…. thanks skc

    • I wouldn't risk it, just setup a new Woolworths Online account for the next shop

      • I tried but it says my name is already in use and to use the forgotten password link to reset my password…Is there a way to sign up with the same Name and DOB details?

        • Is there a way to sign up with the same Name and DOB details

No unfortunately not. Just shift your DOB out a day. If you're not buying alcohol then they won't even ask. Alternatively (after reading skc's comment above) contact Cashrewards directly and ask them to confirm whether you would be eligible for the $40. If they reply in writing confirming this then I guess you would be covered under their new cashback guarantee so you could shop using your old account safe in the knowledge you will get the cashback.

    • It doesn't matter. I'd a woolies account and had used it for several click n collect orders but I got my $40 cashrewards after getting my first home delivery.

Only Woolies? No Caltex for Petrol? In-store transactions work?

    • +3

Online Woolworths Online. No in-store transactions (fuel or groceries). How would Cashrewards cookies track you in-store?

      • +1

        Ahh. you are right. Thanks.

      • Lmao.

  • Any idea when is the offer expiring? Do we have time till we go home and order?

    • I believe it ends 16/06 10pm AEST.

      • may I ask where you got that information from? I looked on the Cashrewards site but couldn't see any mentions of the expiry. In the past it ends at midnight on Tuesdays.

  • Can I use my existing CR account and setup a new WW account for my sister and use it with my CR account. I haven't claimed a new customer CR before, but I have had existing customer $1 credit.. Hope that makes sense.

    • but I have had existing customer $1 credit

If you've previously received any cashback from Cashrewards for a Woolworths purchase then you will not be eligible to receive the $40 in that same Cashrewards account. However, if you open a new Cashrewards account…

      • Thank you

  • great offer. but what to buy for $100 of grocercies?

    • +1

You can buy some for me :)

    • +2

      Tim Tams are $1.82

    • Detergent on sale. Last time luckily Biozet was on sale $10 2L bought 4 packs.

      Roasts, wine, nuts?

  • +1

just bough 34 litres of coconut water…

got email from cashrewards .. but it says:

    Retailer: Woolworths.com.au
Date of sale: 15 Jun 2017
    Sale value: AUD 0.00 *
    Expected cashback: AUD 40.00
    Estimated approval: 13 Sep 2017

    sale value 0?

    • Why is sale value 0?

    • +3

      sale value 0?

All Woolworths.com.au transactions track this way through our affiliate network. Just ignore the sale value amount. As long as the expected cashback amount is correct, it's the only thing that matters :)

      • Sweet.. thanks.

  • Olive oils, canned items such as coke or tomatoes, washing surf, dishwashing liquids, and any other heavy items. Inly applicable to those who dont own a car like me.

  • Is tobacco products allowed?

    • No.

      • I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere! :/

        • -2

I am pretty sure you cant. Have read it somewhere. Maybe other members can confirm.

    • +2

I don't see why not, as long as you can buy it from Woolworths Online.
And why did you get negged for asking?

    • +1

Excludes flowers, tobacco and Delivery Saver items

      • Thanks! Do you mind sharing where was it mentioned?

      • Excludes flowers, tobacco and Delivery Saver items

That's only for the $15 off $150+ spend coupon. Doesn't apply to the $40 new customer cashback.

        • +1

          Ok thanks for clarification

    • +1

Cashback applied on tobacco products! :)

  • +1

Still waiting for my cashback from March, I've given up on cashrewards.

    • Cashback Schedule - Confirmation: Up to 90 Days

Has it been 90 days since your order? If so then contact Cashrewards directly and ask them to follow it up

      • +1

Nearly, however TightArse just sorted it out for me which is great. Big thanks to TA

    • If we have already passed the 'due date' just contact them and they'll credit it. This happens to me on a fairly regular basis but a 5 second email generally fixes it.

  • what about wine or beer? Can anyone please confirm?

    • +1

      yes no issues with alcohol.

      • +1

yes no issues, added booze to my food order.

  • +1

The new website seems to be quite clunky at this stage. Managed to order anyway.

  • $50+ order placed, thanks CR

    • you need 100+ if you want the $40 cashback (unless you're happy/eligible only with $5)

      • already a member, so the $5 will have to do

  • Ive put about $100 dollars worth of stuff in cart and in checkout it still shows $11 delivery wtf…

How does this cashback work? Do i simply go through cashrewards website?

    • +1

Yes go through CR and you'll get the cashback (Make sure you disable adblockers etc)

As for free delivery, it shows up when you're in the checkout screen - What's your selected delivery date? (i.e is it outside the free delivery period?) and/or are you a first time customer in which case you should get free delivery regardless. In any case you need to be a 1st time customer to get the $40 cashback.

    • I use the crappy plugin which tells u when its active. The delivery will show zero when u checkout later.

  • Anyone else has got a sale value of 0?

    • yes that's common. don't worry as long as it says $40 cashback

      • Thank you.

    • How long does it take for this email showing cashback to arrive after purchase?

      • Anyone know the answer to this?

        • Woolies is 24hrs or less… typically

    • +2

Oz does not represent the entire population of aus

      • Did you think 'Ozb'.

    • +1

lol are you saying the entire adult population is an existing Woolies ONLINE customer?
