MalwarebytesDeal

Malwarebytes LIFETIME PRODUCT KEY FOR 1 PC

Malwarebytes recently switched from a lifetime license model to an annual subscription model. The product keys we sell are the LIFETIME Professional version (renamed to Premium), but when they're gone, they're gone. In the future, only the annual subscription version will be available.

Why Malwarebytes Anti-Malware PREMIUM?

  • Malwarebytes LIFETIME can detect and protect against malware that traditional antivirus software may miss

  • Malwarebytes LIFETIME helps to prevent hacking and phishing attempts

  • Malwarebytes LIFETIME helps to detect and prevent spyware from stealing your personal data

Bought key during last deal and it shows "Status: Never Expires" so I'm happy. If license last 10 years, then works out at $4.90/year.

    • Yea.. Mine has been on for 6years now. We get every update to!.

    The hell…?

Was US$20 - US$28 just 4 days ago! This is a blatant rip now

      Hello,

This is a lifetime license, we where running a promo back then, this is our original price, however with this coupon MalwarebytesDeal we offer 20% off. This product is worth $80 - $120 on amazon and ebay. We bought a lot before malwarebytes stop selling lifetime license. We are being fair to offer this deal.

      Thanks

      • +3

It's deceptive and doesn't belong around here.

      • We bought a lot before malwarebytes stop selling lifetime license. We are being fair to offer this deal.

        Isn't that touting?

    • Last week it showed $59.00 $89.99 with the option to allow offers whereby people offered $10/$15 and they countered with an offer of $20.

Now it shows as $30.00 $89.99 which in theory is a NEW deal and a $29.00 discount.

So what is everyone whinging about?

  • +9

Obvious price jacking should be worthy of a negative vote, no?

$25 was the original price previously. Now it's $89.99 and marked down to $49.00, where is the bargain? If an eBay seller did this, the negatives would be stacking like a game of Stack Tower.

          Copy/paste replies? Are you serious?!

@Spackbace: Sorry we had a lot of orders we fulfilling, we promise to deliver almost instantly. So I have been multi tasking. Our reviews says it all, our clients have been happy with the product and service.

          @bluejadeservices:

Well based on your deal posts on here, your store is about to get a performance based ban… But that's ok you'll have more time to look after all those customers that don't check your prices against the competition ;)

Come back when you have an actual deal.

  • +5

I will support you… Like I support the 20% eBay deal.

-_- A price raise and then a coupon code to discount it, is still a price raise.

  • +1

Price have been reverted to $30 a Key.

    Thanks

    • Is that $30 USD?
You should change the title then if you can

  • +3

What a joke. Only commenting to corroborate what others have already said (price has been massively inflated then a small discount added), and to contribute a negative vote to this "deal".

    • +1

Make an offer, lets see what we can do for you.

      Thanks
      Joel

Quick turn around with working key!

        Thx

  • +1

    Is this a troll post?
This has been as low as $20 as user spaceback mentioned…
A quick search shows this is almost double of "standard pricing"
    What is the bargain here?

    Too bad i can't neg…
But thanks for your post though…

As people will remember, from the last thread, I did some deep digging for ya'll — I'm not going to take a stance here other than in my opinion, the distance between deals and the cost ratio could be much better thought out. I'll give the OP the benefit of doubt though that doing this post was more of an advertisement, BUT people should also just keep in mind they are a limited commodity and cost is always calculated into that, last time they were being sold at below cost and I worked hard to make sure that didn't change for that deal so that he wouldn't be beat down on here.
Depending on certain circumstances I will be supporting OP to make a post in the future where it can be a win win for everyone.

TL;DR Honored all original key prices, is probably a little ignorant to a new 'deal' with a big jump in price so close to each other — Cut them some slack.

    • +2

How can we take them seriously when they massively increase the price, then apply a discount coupon that is still far higher than their last best price. Sounds like a cash grab to me. They are hugely ignorant and just damaging their already waiver credibility.

A quick internet search will tell you that Malwarebytes stopped selling these licenses in 2014. To quote the company on reddit,

    https://www.google.com.au/amp/s/amp.reddit.com/r/Malwarebyte…

"I would be weary of anyone online offering a lifetime license as it more than likely fake or pirated."

This quote was from about a year ago. The probability of this deal being genuine is approaching zero rapidly, especially as this is electronic inventory (ie. you don't find it on a dusty shelf out the back).

"But the software comes directly from Malwarebytes.com".
Yes it does. The software allows genuine customers to reinstall Malwarebytes after a system crash. But it also allows a pirated key to work the same way. It's not the software I'm questioning, it's the license key's authenticity.

If you intend to buy this deal, you may as well get a crack and save your money.

I suggest OzBargain no longer allow sale of lifetime Malwarebytes licenses unless Malwarebytes officially change their policy. Evidence of this should only be found at the Malwarebytes site if/when it occurs.

    • +1

The problem here is though, that CS rep is actually ill-informed it would seem(or just carefully used his words with he said "more than likely fake or pirated, instead of just all fake and pirated; Something he should have expanded on tbh), as any key third party sellers hadn't sold by subscription change roll-over (and they opted not to sell them back to malwarebytes) ..DO actually have authentic and sell-able keys, ones that in my opinion, should be being sold at a much higher price at the moment.

Please keep in mind everything said above is on a case by case status and its one of the main reasons anyone here should never be going to ebay for keys.

    Thanks
    Bought a couple

  • Can the software be reinstalled if a PC crashed of if Windows is reinstalled?

    • Yes but it's not that simple, or at least in my case.

I reinstalled Windows and when I went to re-install my Malwarebytes, it would not activate. I called support and they helped me re-install but apparently even with these "lifetime" keys, there is a maximum of 4 activates / deactives. After that your sh!te out of luck, or at least that's what I was told, so be aware.

  • I will bookmark this "deal" and come back in a year to see if there are any complaints about expiry after one year's use. I don't trust it given Malwarebytes advice that they only do yearly licenses

    • Just so you know mate they will be out of existence by then.

  • I bought 2 of these lifetime deals and they both expired within 9 months. I spoke to the seller as well as Malware and nothing could be done about it. Not worth it.

    • But where did you buy the keys from? The same seller? Doesn't mean you'll get the same experience.

    • +1

This is exactly what I was saying on last deal with this seller . Yes they will work for some time . How long ? Well depends how lucky you are .

  • Bought a key last week when the "Make an offer" deal was on. Working fine so far.

  • Error applying discount code: "Your cart does not meet the requirements for the MALWAREBYTESDEAL discount code"…

    • Code works now, we fixed the problem.

      Thanks

  • Malwarebytes is a bit of a mystery to me. There is no empirical evidence that it's any good, correct? But it is, correct?

    • Heh, I'm amazed THIS is brought up more often.
Rather than say one or the other I'll just say that the current default best stock windows setup compared to one with malwarebytes is something that could be happily debated (aka they are close)

  • Sure if this is not the software that the Indian dude calls up from "Windows Corporation" or "Telstra" to say you have a virus and they will be disconnecting your internet services if you do not install this? LOL

  • I did some research on the quality of the product and have seen nothing but disappointing results. If someone could point me to such credible evidence that shows the quality of the product I would very much appreciate it.

    • Apparently it is very good at removing viruses after you're infected- poor at avoiding infection.

      • I'd like to amend your post for solidice by saying: You don't need to clean viruses if you have this

    • +1

So many people here that are so unsure, I'll happily do you an insurance deal, if you buy from this seller, please keep your receipt and send it to me, along with $10 and I'll insure it for 24months (Long enough for it to obviously last, Please also send the key so I can insure no funny biznuz on your end). Not to mention I've done something alike this on here before.

This fee would be 90% refunded ASWELL in the case you get paid out. I will do this with up to 100 people if you are worried. No more than that though so I could always deliver worst case scenario.

  • The discount code doesn't seem to be working for me

When I enter it, I get:
"Your cart does not meet the requirements for the MALWAREBYTESDEAL discount code"

  • Ok, bought a key and almost straight away received 2 emails from Blue Jade Software, first email advising order is confirmed and second email advising payment had been processed. Website says that they will process orders in "less than 30 minutes". Forty five minutes later still waiting for license key. Suspect a scam. Will update if they come through with the product. In the meantime please be warned that they don't deliver on their delivery timeframe policies/promises after payment is confirmed. Anyone else had issues?

    • Hello,

We sorry about that, Time difference. We just resumed operations now in the US.

      Thanks
      Joel

    • I emailed them asking "what gives" and they replied with blah blah, license key arrived shortly after that and software activated ok. Seems to be all fine, just a little slower than promised on website. Around 90 minutes delivery of license key.

      • We sorry about that, we just resumed operation here in the US.

        Thanks

Coupon code works now, we where able to fix that.

    Thanks

  • googles and came across this. have always had free 'ad hoc' scanning malwarebytes due to prior recommendations when i was a kid. saw two years is 89.99 and a years like 59.99.. pretty expensive considering avast antivirus (not malware and all but still a safety software imho) on discount is sub $20 a year.

That said is the premium malware bytes any good? e.g. ransomware and malware live protection? I assume it wouldn't protect against the recent wanna cry, petacry etc until it had been identified for some time - but even then where does malwarebytes sit in this day and age a dozen+ years after it used to always be recommended along with avg/avast and spybost: S & D as the "goto" for uninformed computer users (such as myself as a kid) by the tech wiz's of whirlpool etc.

And on another note, why are these lifetime licenses $30 vs the $89.99 being charges for 2 year subscription on malwarebytes officially? I tried to read a few comments above but got lost in all the talk about inflated prices being discounted and being more expensive than the last deal.. yada yada? Could someone recap for me?

  • scam . They just scam u off your money for a lifetime license.A year later and the license wont work and they wont reply to any emails and just take your money and run.
They even try to spam me using a diff seller on the same platform storeenvy where i purchased my key from back in 2015.
Oh look wonder how u got my email ?
