      Most definitely!

  • Did anyone who signed up for the 25%off F&F discount at Harvey Norman, having issues with them actually applying the 25% off?

I am now on my 2nd bill and still not reflecting the discount. I have contacted Optus and they are refusing to honour it saying I never signed up to this promotion?

    • I have exactly the same problem. Its so frustrating they are refusing to honour the offer now saying that they need to check with the marketing team etc. The guy at Harvey Norman was all smiles when I signed up he even told me how much I would have to pay after the discount was applied. I would have NEVER signed up for this offer had I known I would have to pay full price. I'm stuck with Optus now for 2 years and don't know what else I can do.

They kept assuring me that the discount would be applied in the second bill. I even have a screenshot of an Optus agent telling me that he checked and can see I have the discount and it will be applied from the second bill. Well, it hasn't. Seriously can they get away with this?

I have lodged a complaint with the TIO, I suggest you do the same.

I haven't had any updates yet, but I expect it will get resolved.

        • Thanks spuderump. I will do the same if this isn't resolved. Can you send me a link or a number and how you lodged the complaint? I have a feeling I will need to :(

        • @spuderump: Thanks :)

        • The Optus agent just told me the Harvey Norman rep didn't apply the code when I signed up. He said Harvey Norman should be able to sort it out. I'm going to resolve this with HN if not TIO it is. Please let me know if you have any updates with your case. CHeers

        • @karankadam: I haven't heard anything yet, let me know if Harvey Norman can fix it!

        • @karankadam: hey mate any luck with harvey norman?

@spuderump: No nothing yet. I'll let you know if there's an update. My 3rd bill be due soon!

        • @karankadam: I actually just heard back from the TIO, Optus have sent me an email verifying they will apply the 25% discount to every bill from now on.

So I guess it's resolved, however I will await my 3rd bill to make sure.

        • @spuderump: That's great. I've kept the TIO route as my last option
