10500mAh battery :o but does it suck?

the product contains 5 batteries internally which operate in tandem. Each operates at 3.6V and has a 2000mAh capacity.

  • Whilst price compared to even the cheapest Dyson is a bargain, you still have to buy replacement filters that the Dyson doesn't need so factor that into price. Doubt that cleaning power could compare as well. Dyson is still a beast if you can get it on a decent deal.

    • The filters are cleanable, the spares are for purchase if you break them when brushing/rinsing them.

Dyson have them too, but they are a much better design - https://www.dyson.com.au/support/v6/dyson-v6-cordless/mainta…

I've got a Dyson clone (AirFlo) that uses the same filters as the Kogan. The filter material is crap and ultra fine dust build up chokes the motor quickly. I might buy one of those filters from Kogan and changing the material for some decent HEPA stuff (keep warranty on old filter). I've been really impressed with my clone (it's corded though as I don't have a need for cordless) but the suction loses about 30% after a minute because of ultra fine dust clogging the soft canvas like material of those filters.

The dust can be brushed out really easily (hello allergies), and the filter pops out of the machine in a few seconds with easy access - it's just they could have put a few centimetres of decent HEPA stuff for a few extra dollars as it could have close to 100% suction the whole time even when the filter is gunky.

      • all i got from this is that i should buy a dyson

        • I would have too if I wanted to spend 6x the cost of a corded clone.

    • Sometimes I wish my Dyson had a bag

Bought one and from my experience its a waste of time. (lookig at dyson now)
    * Its hard to use on rungs/carpet and performance on hard floors seem to be poor
    * Suction seems to be minimal (actually spinning brush does all the work). The device seems to work on low-medium power level so that they can advertise longer operating time.
    * A lot of the time the dust doesn’t even make it to the collection container, it gets stuck on the filter (which means you got to take the whole thing apart rather than simply empty the container as advertised).
    * After 6mts it would charge intermittently and after 9mts the battery died

I've also got one. My main issue is that as mentioned above the filter seems to collect most of the dirt with little going into the collection bin, causing suction to drop dramatically until cleaned. So far battery and running times seem good as does suction when the filter isn't blocked.
Would I buy another one? No.
