Was looking for some immediate storage for quick use, walked pass ow and found this cheap USB thumb drive. Made in Taiwan. Almost sold out in my local store.
There is also a 128GB version selling for $49, similar to the price of buying 4x32GB.

I bought one. I filled it and deleted the files. Wrote at about 12mb/sec and read at about 75mb/sec. No issues as a non-critical data storage repository. Many of the reviews said they couldn't write to their USB drives.
Harvey Norman is selling 64GB one for $19. I just got one, the speed is pretty slow.

Worth noting, that's the Emtec B100. The drive being sold by Officeworks is the B250

By look of it, B250 is even slower, up to 10MB/s write. B100 is 12MB/s write.
My local HN had the 64gb Sandisk Ultra Fit for $10 a week or two ago.
Where was the post D:
No wonder it's slow - you got the blue one. Surely red would be faster.

I bought this stick last week. 32Mb/s read, 8Mb/s write speed on large files. Can't complain for the price.
thats pretty bad on large files.
Those speeds won’t even saturate USB 2 lol
Good price but it's not exactly heartening when all the reviews are 1 star.
