Orbi™ AC3000 Whole Home Tri-Band WiFi System (RBK50)
From the basement to the backyard, this Orbi Whole Home WiFi System (RBK50) covers up to 350 square metres with high performance AC3000 WiFi. First with innovative Tri-band WiFi, Orbi helps deliver the fastest available Internet speeds even as more devices connect. This Orbi WiFi System comes with an Orbi WiFi Router and Satellite and replaces your home router and extenders. It also easily works with existing Service Provider equipment so you will enjoy better WiFi everywhere. Connect more wired devices using the 4 Ethernet ports on the Orbi Satellite.
Is this compatible with Opticom FTTP?
yes - your FTTP connection will have its own modem, which you can bridge to this.
Or if you already have a router you like, you could use these as WAPs to provide wifi around your house.
Thanks!
Probably one of the best things I've bought. An in depth review below:

Latest firmware has too many bugs. Poor support from netgear.

Other things to factor too when buying a product.
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/331081364203 Seems like a better deal. One less ethernet port, probably no noticeable Wifi speed differences to the gross majority. Not sure about other feature differences.
AC2200 vs AC3000,, less USB port on both main orbi and its satellite.
AC2200 vs AC3000 is probably not going to mean anything in a house. The majority of WiFi devices don't even use AC, but still N. Correct me if I'm wrong?
Some details of what this is might be helpful
