Play TV is on ebay's big deal today, for $119 with free postage. I checked previous threads and myer had this for $129, so this beats that by $10 plus the savings on postage

Im not sure how much stock they have, but i'd assume they have a fair amount to be on the big deal page (but who knows)…

    Pretty good, I've been using it since Christmas, only problem is it follows FTA protocols so no adskip etc

      But can you still fast forward? Wouldn't midn getting a ps3 + this so i can record tv…PVR with gaming capabilities could be useful.

      Currently have a htpc but windows media centre is really not the best software…

        yup, you can do a 30x fast forward. It's brilliant as a htpc replacement if you pair it with PMS (Playstation Media Server) = transcode on the fly!

    picked it up for $128 at good guys so pretty good deal saves $9
    also myer has deal going with play tv + bd remote for $164

    Yes, it does do Captions, we use them all the time (as you stated with the programs that do have CC).
