The first three X-Men films is available in iTunes for $4.99 each. (The actual cost for serial discount gift card buyers is closer to $3.99 - $4.24 at 15-20% off.)

For those wanting to collect the full set of 8 films and don't mind physical discs, the Blu-Ray deal posted by dins is undoubtedly the better deal.

But for those who prefer the convenience and trade-offs of 100% digital, this isn't too bad vs their normal prices (sorry, I don't know what those were pre-sale).

  Yes with Bluray you need to put a disc in and out but do you get better image and sound over the convenience of digital

    Good question. Here's what Ars says in 1080p video smackdown: iTunes vs. Blu-ray:

    I was surprised to see how close the iTunes 1080p download comes to Blu-ray, considering that it's only a fraction of the file size. And let's be honest: there are lots of Blu-ray titles that look much worse than this iTunes download. But despite an impressive effort by Apple, Blu-ray still reigns king when it comes to image quality…

    It's a little dated (2012), since they mention iTunes didn't have special features, but many (most?) titles today do.

    And while Blu-ray video is excellent, I expect this level of quality is fairly fixed (happy to be corrected) since inception, while there's a possibility iTunes has made improvements (e.g., tradeoffs in size vs quality) over the last five years.

  I like the idea of digital but buying from iTunes when you can download it for free very easy is hard to go by

  I'm not endorsing the torrent way at all as I have not download a movie from a torrent in a few years now as it seems they have really cracked down on this and you can get caught quite easy
