how accurate is this?
I can't comment on how accurate it is, but compared to Mi Band 1 and 2, and to Android Wear (Huawei Watch) that I am using now, the FitBit is the only one that can provide a HR reading when I am sweating my ass off. The others just have a hard time getting a reading at all or showing my pulse at 100bpm when I am clearly over that.
Also this is the only one that tracks HR while sleeping.
Had the Garmin Vivosmart HR - basically same gen as this - they all have an issue detecting HR during a workout (they register it late).

Agreed. A good price, but I've gone through two via replacement as the band just starts to fall apart and is non replaceable on this version.
why all are all the scalpers buying now, wait for 4PM. These are not worth more than $50 if you are looking to sell back on ebay/Gumtree, so dont scalp wait for 4:00:01PM

If resellers are patient, then yes. How people can resell this junk and still make a profit after ebay fees is beyong me. Any of the scalpers care to explain ?
I have no idea about scalping and resellering, but I bought it for my personal use. And as I guessed early, it's sold out now. You should be familiar with OzBargain by now, mate. You hesitate you regret.
I'm not a scalper and I bought one, not for resale but to wear and use. I've been wanting to invest in one for awhile, but the price has always held me back. I'd assume most buyers were people in the same boat, who are buying now because they don't want to miss out; rather than scalpers.

Don't worry if you missed out, these are junk. The band will bubble and peel away after a few months, even quicker if you sleep with it.
They shouldn't be allowed to sell these with such a common problem.
I also found syncing with my phone problematic (sometimes it would take 5+ minutes to sync).
Sync is problematic yes, but I dont have much issues since I only walk with it
any1 having issues with the battery life? mine doesnt last more than 2-3 hours after full charge. Not even clicking the screen, nor checked anything.
The battery on my Fitbit HR one was similar. After software update, it improved to 5-7 hrs. After few days it improved to 10-12 hrs by keeping sync off. Overall not very impressed.
i think i should get fitbit to fix it. My own fitbit doesnt have this issue. I think telstra is getting rid of old stock with crap battery, thus so cheap
