    Good Price OP. Nice Find

    Harveynorman Price is ==>$598 BEFORE CASHBACK——$548 AFTER CASHBACK
    JBHIFI==>YOU PAY $699— $649 AFTER CASHBACK*
    Teds==> $649.95 before cashback
    Officeworks==> $698 Before Cashback
    Thegoodguys==>$598 Before Cashback

  • For anyone without amex you could get it at the good guys @ $598.
    Then claim 120% price difference eftpos card = $186.
    Then 50 cashback brings the total to about $362.

    • Thanks. How do you claim the price difference gift cards?

    • A bit risky as by the time they look into your 120% price difference claim Domayne could have gone out of stock or price upped etc. Probably safer to get OW to price beat for a few dollars more than whole TGG price claim process.

  • Nice one!

  • Thanks for this! I got Harvey Norman to price match, and with Amex statement credit the end value for me after cash back will be $343. Not bad, considering the original price was $729 at the Harvey Norman store that I picked it up from.

    Good price and nice camera, just a bit too big and bulky for what I need.
    Still waiting for a decent mirrorless camera bargain.

    • I was going to buy this two weeks ago and ended up buying a Nikon 1 J5 (mirrorless) which is about the same price. The only reason why I got the Nikon 1 is that I don't want to carry something so heavy like a DSLR on a holiday trip.

      • Yes, same reason here, if I had the DSLR I'd likely find reasons not to take and use it simply because of the size.
        Looking at Olympus OM-D E-M10 II myself but the price difference hurts a little.

      • Why not buy a smartphone with a good camera, that's light as :)

  • It doesn't mention VR. This might be the non-VR lens kit.

    • Australia doesn't get the 18-55 VR lens as standard in the kit. Can't say you really need it either. But definitely on the 55-300mm!

      • You need it for video. The whole purpose of the stepping motor lens is for video.

  • office works price match -5%?

    • If you can find stock. Unavailable online.

    Some info for Perth users………Officeworks Joondalup WA has no SLR cameras at all. My next stop was Harvey Norman joondalup, who did price match. They did try to sell me an extended warranty, $86 for one year, I politely declined. FYI if you register with Nikon Life you get a free extra years warranty, just for registering. Chap who served me had to speak to his manager to authorise the pricematch, but manager came through!

    They had 7, and I only bought one, so there are 6 left at joondalup HN, FYI.

  • Just be careful as the $50 cash reward will end tomorrow 31-May so if you buying online make sure that you receive the item by tomorrow as you need the serial number and the receipt for claiming the cash back.
