Nice post OP, kudos for listing all of the various additional discounts. Getting RMs on sale is quite rare!

  • Don't think cashrewards will give you cashback since you're using it with giftcards.

  • Nice. FWIW I paid the same $350 for mine at a factory outlet in Canberra. If you aren't going via this deal thats an option. Pretty limited in terms of styles or sizing at the outlet though.

Anyone misses this you can still do pretty well at nungar trading. The cheapest boots are 350, most around 400. Can't remember what the shipping's like because it's been 5 years since I bought mine, but don't remember it being too crazy

    • $15 to Melbourne CBD, purchased in May 2017.

  • How do they fit generally? true to size or different? thinking about ordering now.

    • I think for this sort of money you should go into the store and try them on. Or, depending on DJ's return policy, order your normal size, then half a size above/below and return whatever pairs you don't want.

Normally 1 size down, but get measured in at a store is the best option

      • Having said that, I had to go down 1.5 size

Yeah you'd be crazy not to try them on first before splashing out this kind of money.

Yep this is my experience, as well as what RM recommends - http://www.rmwilliams.com.au/boot-size-guide/Boot_Size_Guideā€¦

I have absolutely pitiful feet, usually a 6 but occasionally wear a 7. Wearing a 5 RM boot however. Was a tad tight initially but began to feel fine after a fortnight.

Also worth noting they have three widths so maybe keep that in mind. At least with DJs I assume you'd have no issue doing a return as long as the shoes in as new condition if you happen to have the wrong size.

Going into an RM Williams stores a good idea though and probably a good way to ensure you have multiple sizes+widths in stock to try.

Pretty sure the measurement thingo on the tm Williams website is pretty good. I'm a 10 for rms but usually an 11 in trainers

Would be wise to check in store for size as I found I had to go with a wider size, DJ doesn't list what it is so it may be a tight fit if you have wider feet.

Join the Australian full time Army and receive a pair.

    • or find a mate that is still in…..they are allowed to buy a pair a year! Clothing store discount!

  • grabbed a pair - figured I'd just return it or exchange it in a store if it aint right :) Had the amex credit expiring tonight so perfect!

  • GODDAMN IT HOW DID I MISS THIS

    • If there is something you are after, use the Oz Bargan alerts and you will not miss. If you still want, go to Nungar now. In saying that, take your chances on buying direct from RM Williams with the free 85th Anniversary Crocodile Belt and selling it on ebay for maybe $200. Good luck.

      • Oh that is a great idea! Thanks!

Hmm the market is flooded with those belts on ebay now, they're going for prob 150 ish.

        Why "now" for Nungar?
