We find Merrell footwear to be pretty good quality in general.
They are trail shoes, the soft lugs never last long on pavement. They get better longevity off-road.
I thought that about the men's version of trail glove 6, got them about 8 months ago, but realised I've walked several hundred KMs in them. Wouldn't recommend paying full price though, but $60 is value
Not true (my case) I’ve worn my trail glove 6’s as my main shoe for 12 months straight - the front lip glue started to fade a bit but I got a ton of use out of a very versatile shoe - worn them in snowy conditions, hot, the works - great shoe but I am aware there’s some conflicting reviews out there. Super comfy too.
How often do you use them? My family is active; daily 7-10km walk/run is normal.
Yeah every day and wore them most days on holidays overseas hiking. The trick though is in their name - it’s a trail shoe and I did find walking on city roads tended to get a bit trying as they don’t have the same heel Support of a standard jogging shoe. That being sId wore these in most conditions and was very pleased how verstie they were.
Dont see these lasting for much time.

Agree, I have a pair of Moabs which are years old and still in good order. Admittedly, I wear them about once a fortnight.
This model looks like the sole will wear out fast.
No love for the mens shoes?
I got these in December and have found the soles to begin wearing prematurely. I've probably done less than 60km of walking in them on roads and pavement and don't see them making it past a year.
However I do find them quite comfortable. I'd probably buy them again at this price however.
