Great price of you're in the market for weightlifting shoes. Only stock left in sizes 8.5, 8 and 9 unfortunately.

On clearance at Rebel for $189.99
why they raised though.
Ive seen nicer looking weight lifting shoes that were not raised from memory.
Ive just always used flat soled shoes

cheating…
I think you're confusing this with general training shoes. These are specifically made for the sport weightlifting. The two lifts performed in competition are the snatch and the clean & jerk. The heel helps with ankle mobility and some lifters like an even larger heel than this.
soft slippers for deadlifts, and raised heel/hard sole for squats.
slippers mean less hieght you need to lift the weight to gain lockout.
raised heel, numerous benefits from better stability to less ankle dorsiflexion.
yes, serious weightlifters buy their shoes based on looks, not functionality :D
250 was normal price a year back.
Too heavy shoe tbh.
Who cares how heavy an Olympic lifting shoe is- most people walk less than twenty metres in them. Are you running marathons in yours?
I can only Laugh at this comment, anyway
This is a common question but weightlifters are very specific about the weight. It makes them feel lighter, like they can move faster under the bar. Whether or not a hundred grams makes a difference, i don't know, but weightlifters care.
I’m a weightlifter from the past 15 years and can deadlift over 200 kg, but I do it in socks [same goes for my mates too] because these shoes aren’t comfortable. The same applies to leg presses, squats, and other exercises. That’s just my personal preference, though.
@LuckyDealer: Like you, I also do not find these heeled shoes comfortable but performance shoes are never comfortable. They have the sole purpose to ensure that the athlete can extract maximum performance from themselves. All olympic lifters say that this is a core piece of equipment though and I'm willing to believe them.
@BrewerHaHa: good to know…thanks
@LuckyDealer: Sounds like you've 'lifted weights' for the past 15 years but your not a weightlifter (Someone who trains snatch and clean and jerk).

You're not supposed to deadlift in these shoes. These are for squats/cleans/snatches.
Watch any of the weightlifting events at the Olympics and see what the world class athletes are using for footwear.
Then watch world championship weightlifting where they are deadlifting, and see what they are wearing. It's totally different.
cant seem to find a location to pick up or deliver? help pls
Not as good as rom 2's but heaps of young Olympians winning medals in rom 4's.
There are more alternatives though these days.
O Romaleo, Romaleo,
Wherefore art thou Romaleo?”
