    GTFO.

In most cases, you want panels with microinverters, to circumvent the problem of shading.

    • inverters and shading . thought invert takes the dc from panel and converts to ac … hence box in garage ….. what does investor have to do with shading ?

solar noobie just started looking at solar for new house.

      • One of the major advantages of micro-inverters is that they cancel out the negative impacts of partial or complete shading. Because the DC-AC electricity conversion takes place at each panel, there is no “bottleneck” when one panel’s production decreases.

        https://www.energysage.com/solar/101/string-inverters-microi…

Basically if you get any shade on your roof, your production will plummet with these string inverter systems. You have to get a micro inverter system, because even though they cost more, their higher energy production means the system will save more over time. With string inverters, when one panel gets shade, all drop energy production.

    WTF?
" Grid Connection not Included. "

This is not a bargain, this is spam!

    • can you link to better deal please as in starting to look for panels for new house build and am one of those that wants to get it right….. want to be bale to use it for myself on sunny day for AC and TV and send to grid when not at home.

some people might be going off grid or for holiday homes …… i'm building a new house so am looking at panels and inventor and the grid connection will part of the bigger house wiring with another contractor ….. you can buy car tyres and parts without fitting.
adds transparency in that you know what materials cost and what the connection to grid costs and i'm sure there are people selling high quality panels and cheap labour and others who selling low quality panels and expensive labour.

used to do as much as possible in house with gas as it was cheap ….. can't see gas being cheap again in my life time or grid electricity.

i don't think energy security for general consumers (unless you are mining company) or food security is on the governments list of priority

Only Australian standard high quality electrical material used.

The Australian standard is pretty low. I had a cold calling solar salesman at my door trying to boast that German standards are higher and the panels he was selling are German standards, but when I looked them up they were cheap Chinese crap.

What is the exact model of the panel and inverter? If you can't supply this when posting to Ozbargain then there is not enough information for it to be posted.
