Lol these are $60 at EBGames.

After an evening listening to some music must say they really do sound good - hard to believe they can make speakers at just $30 these days.

  • Paid about $35 (everyday price) at Computer Alliance in QLD for these and, at that price, they are an absolute steal, so this is even better.

I just bought this 2 days ago for $38 at msy, great speakers for price :(

    • do you have any other speakers to compare this to?

  • I have something similar for 15 years and still sounds good enough. Creative is good value .

  • What's the cost of shipping to sydney?

  • Can you connect it to a TV?

    • +2

Must connect to device with 3.5mm headphone jack. No line-in or anything.

      • what about phone

        • +2

You can as long as you have a cable with two male jacks

        • @sm007h: k cool tx

        • Yes it has a green headphone cable that Ive tried on both PC and phone. No issues.

        • Phone is fine.

    • Can always get an RCA male to 3.5mm male cable. I think they're 5 bucks at Kmart.

I am so confused…kids these days and their internet speak

  • I am using my dad's old computer speakers which are about 12 years old. Still extremely relevant and amazing quality. Creative are one of those rare brands.

Nice price but I will never part with my Logitech z623's.

Out of curiosity what is the power on these RMS not peak bs

    • 2W/ch satellites and 5W Sub according to the page here.

Better of looking at the frequency response bandwidth. Comparing to a similar priced Logitech the creative comes out on top with better base.

        • Which two did you compare?

        • @bti_jet:

Found this review figures such as the bandwidth can be used to compare with other speakers of similar watts/rms in terms of sound range.

RMS from what i understand is how much a speaker can output (volume). For a small room which is what op has said its very suitable. Bass can be adjusted via software if your worried. I've tried it myself and works fine.

        • @waynet93:

I don't see any comparison, just a list of ads

        • @bti_jet:

          Link must be wrong o.o
Another person has posted a better comparison below anyway.

    • Yep, I love my Logitech Z623s. Might I give you some advice - my set up is those speakers, and a $5 USB Auxiliary Bluetooth dongle.

Just plug it into a small USB charger near the speakers, AUX from the speakers goes into the USB Dongle, and voila - Bluetooth speakers!

      • Do u have a link for dongle?

        • Yep, there's literally heaps of them, but here is one identical to what I bought.

      • It's a bit more expensive, but the Chromecast Audio is fantastic if you want to wifi-enable some speakers.

        • Purely aiming for inexpensive :) - it's great for entertaining, cos when people come over, they can connect to the Bluetooth dongle easily.

Creative speakers are terrible compared to Logitech

  • I have been using the logitech Z333's for a looong time now. But the price on these is so attractive i might get a pair for the guest room…

  • anyone remember cambridge soundworks?

  • +1

If I remember correctly, the A250 cannot control the bass level. If that is something you require, you will have to get the A350.

    • This is correct, the only control is volume which doubles up as a on/off switch.

  • Didn't know Creative were still around!

Might have to pick this up. Thanks OP.

  • Thanks OP got these today, perfect for a smaller room
