    Finally received my tracking details last night (11PM). When I track my vac it says at the depot waiting delivery, the last update was 04/08. Hopefully it arrives today!!!

    OK, Just Rang Paypal, Refunded on the Spot, and he said I was very Patient. Waiting since 13th May 2017. He said he will report the seller. He said I should have reported after 2 to 3 weeks after not receiving Item. So any one that Paypal dispute, and waited the 10 days. Ring Paypal and they are refunding on the spot. All over for me. Now Buying from a seller you can Deliver.

    Got an email with tracking saying it was shipped, didn't show up on the fasttrack website, waited a few days, still nothing so lodged with fasttrack and they have no record of it, will call PayPal as soon as I get home, this is so ridiculous.

        Lodged with Paypal disputes, I just had to mention it was for the order with Roboguy and the lady knew, said they'd received lots of calls so she straight up escalated the case so I've just got to wait the 10 days now for the refund, pending Roboguys response.

    Just received PayPal refund this morn.

    Roboguy never replied to PayPal over his 10 day period. Called this morning on 11th day and was refunded money in minutes.

    Happy this is over and yes, what a waste of time!

    why some people still waiting for their delivery? Roboguy didn't care about updating us for awhile and keep delaying response to emails/PayPal dispute. Furthermore, there are much better deals with trusted seller out there for the same product.

    am I missing something? after all this OZB, and we care about price/service …etc

      That's the exact same question I asked about a week ago and haven't received a convincing response yet …

      At the risk of upsetting some, I can only guess that some people are just too busy with their lives to chase it up and don't mind paying lazy tax ….

      But then again the same group of people would go all out to save a few bucks on other deals at the same time … go figure.

    Initial thoughts:
    - Legit
    - Instructions in Chinese
    - Already have the Mi Home app so I just set it up using that
    - Firmware update took 20 minutes or more, but I know these are important. From a review, the initial cleaning mode got a lot better with their first firmware update.
    - Robot shouts hilarious Chinese alerts when it does things

    Did a small circuit of the lounge room, about to go see how it went.

    As to those wondering why I chose to stuck with Roboguy: well, I hate dealing with Paypal much more than I hate waiting. This was all before I knew they were actually ruling in people's favour, so I expected the worst. Shopping square also takes weeks upon weeks so I knew I'd be waiting regardless. Also, I know we love a good whinge, but for some reason I just didn't have it in me.

          @jayzee: True, when you visit China you'll be able to tell people you're 'starting the cleanup' when visiting places or as you leave you can tell them you're 'returning to dock'.

          Taken from above.
          You'll be able to install the English language pack by navigating to the Mi Robot's settings within the Mi Home app. Once in settings, head to Voice pack, and select the one that says English female voice at the bottom of the list.

          Dont see in my APPversion 3.19.0

    From 10th July..

    We have been able to simplify how we will conduct delivery within Australia which will allow us to cut several days of postage time, this should hopefully make up for some of the days we have lost due to this unforeseen hold up. We are still aiming for delivery around the 26th of July, this will be a struggle, but we do believe for the most part we will be able to archive this.
    Your 12-month warranty will not commence until the 1st of August 2017, so the delay in delivery has not intruded on your warranty period.
    Also, we hope to have some very exciting news coming up for you in the next week, so stay tuned…

      The 'big news' was the ability to possibly purchase an extended warranty. It was at this point I realised he had no intention of compensating for the delay so I got one elsewhere for $40 less.

    Ok this saga is almost over for me. Ten days is up and PayPal has ruled in my favor, just waiting for the money to go back to my card. In the meantime, my vacuum from gearbite should arrive on Thursday. At least I ended up paying $50 less so not a bad outcome overall :).

    Rpboguy never responded to my request for a refund via email even though his time limit for delivery was up. Such an untrustworthy seller and to think I gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited up to the last minute to request for a refund and finally a PayPal dispute.

    Horses for courses but out of principle I would seek refund rather than accept delivery and support this scum. Not to mention you will be paying 50 bucks less for the same product with better customer support from a reliable seller.

    Okay, I held out for a while, just lazy yes. But when I didn't hear anything last week I put in a request for a refund. Nothing back yet and my paypal dispute was escalated to a claim. Now people are getting theirs?

      That is why I claimed, others were getting Tracking Info that were not able to be tracked for days. Lack of Updates and BS from seller. So I put in a claim and won. Glade I did, will have mine on Friday from another seller.

      • I'll keep you in my prayers… Fastways are the shodiest couriers I've ever dealt with. It took me two months to get a bottle of whisky delivered from Sydney to Melbourne once. They stuffed up multiple times, lied to me and the sender, broke one bottle, claimed they'd lost my details etc etc etc. There were stuff ups all the way until the end (the last delay was when the driver called me to say his van had broken down and there would be another day's delay… I got it two days later in a damaged box). I had to chase them for updates every step of the way.

        • Thanks man. That is indeed a horror story! Fastway couriers indeed suck more than this vaccuum even but Roboguy chose them; perhaps the bad attracts the cheap?

    Even your standard idiot starting up a new business would have learned by now and ensured that comms were good and promisez were kept.
    But not roboguy.

    Like you say, no priority shipping, awful comms, customers still not receiving their item 2.5 weeks after they arrived in Oz..

    If I didn't know any better I would swear this is an experiment to see how badly you can treat customers yet still retain them.

    The top of the page says it all… This deal is 3 months old and could be out of date…

  • Unit arrived tonight (7.30pm!). Firmware upgrade took a while and waited 40 mins to bring charge up to 100%. HIT the clean button and was suitably impressed. Map scan shown on the app highlights how clever it is. It had no problem stepping onto the rug, and the only negative so far are it missed a few particles on the tiles next to the rugs edge, and the virtual wall needs to be taped down and not randomly laid in front of obstructions. based on a single use, I would recommend the unit, but maybe not the seller unless it was in stock.
