The Black Vacuum Friday sale continues with this one from Ecovacs which features a whopping 11000Pa that's sure to be a better sucker than myself. Plus it's now at an all time low beating the previous deals.

Featuring dual spinning mops with auto lifting allowing it to mop and vacuum at the same time. The charging dock is about 30% smaller allowing it to fit in smaller spaces and can auto empty the vacuum, clean the mops with hot water, hot air dry them and refill the water tank.

The 5200mAh battery offers 200-290 minutes of run time and for navigation it uses LiDAR with sensors for obstacle detection and avoidance. It has all the other essentials including floor mapping, app control, multiple cleaning modes and more.

As with all robot vacuums don't opt into the customer experience program if you don't want to be part of the AI modelling.

I've got one of these and i find that it wants to constantly want to redo mapping of the house its gotten real annoying. Its like the memory wipes or something i gotta redo the maps every few uses.

    • I've got a viomi s9 (or something) that's similar. Give it the slightest bump while it is cleaning, it'll freak out, say "unable to locate, rebuild the map" and delete the map (you can't even restore it) and start mapping again.

    Approach with Caution!
I would advise people to be EXTREMELY careful of ordering this exact model vacuum.
    Source: Owned it
    Action: Returning it.

They may have fixed some of the issues on the pro model, but without the RGB camera I am getting some real issues with it mopping carpets and occasionally getting lost, not going under furniture etc etc.
The app isn't great but it's passable for the price. If you don't have stuff lying around it's a feature packed Robovac for the price but honestly, I wouldn't advise this one after using & testing it non stop for the last month. If you can be around to babysit the thing it's not terrible and definitely saves on housework, but it's not the best find out there currently imo.
I'll be writing up a full review on it soon and hoping to get some input from someone with the pro model to compare…

    • Did you end up finding a better alternative at the price?
