For anyone thinking of buying a more fly bundle I bought one a couple of weeks back and love having the extra accessories. The bag is more than adequate and is compact. The extra batteries are very handy to have as you won't actually fly for 27 minutes on one if your as nervous as me about losing the thing!
The multi charger attachment is a must have imo too. I paid the same price during the Bing Lee 15% off sale and haven't regretted it
I've had a couple off cheap units but the Mavic Pro is a very high end product for an amateur like myself. It's very easy to operate and just hovers if you release the sticks.
Hope you don't mind the mini review but I just wanted to pass on how happy that I am with it especially at that price.
Thanks always like to hear options. Im thinking of getting one but i heard theres a lot restrictions in sydney, what do you mainly use it for? I feel $2k a drone i would be devastated if i lost it!
Fortunately I live in country NSW so I have plenty of places to fly. You can't fly within 5km of an airport. Maximum of 120 metres altitude and must have it in sight the whole time. Also no closer than 30 metres to people. It's pretty much common sense. I'm an old bloke so I use it to take footage of my grandkids etc. We were camping on the weekend and I used it to see how far away the beach was..:) The footage is amazing and very stable…incredible really. It's a pretty extravagant toy really … don't try and justify owning it!
Yeah i live in mascot.. so that means i can only use it going camping… :(
At this point I'm waiting for Mavic v2 with a better sensor.
I think the Mavic V3 will be better than the V2. Maybe wait for that?

Got a reply from them on Messenger when I asked about the warranty and DJI Care:
"Yes the stock is Australian stock and covered with a warranty. The repair centre is located in Melbourne. You can purchase the DJI Care Plan as well."

With TRS as it exceeds the $900 limit won't you just have to pay back the GST when you bring it back into the country?
900 per person, so with multiple people you're good. They also depreciate it when reentering. And it's more paperwork which they avoid. Last time I had a 3600 camera kit, they just asked me what it was I was declaring and said "Na go through the green" :)
