On Thursday, 11th of May in Martin Place, Pappa is giving away lunch FOR FREE!
Well, almost…simply download our new foodie app to exchange for a free nasi lemak with fried chicken.

It’s all kicking off from 11.30am, so come on down and treat yourself to a free lunch on Pappa!

Limit of 800 serves.

While no money will change hands, customers can simply ‘pay’ for their lunch by downloading PappaRich’s new foodie app and showing one of our friendly staff on the day.

The PappaRich pop-up kitchen will freshly cook the nasi lemak and hand out up to 800 free serves on the day, delivering its authentic Malaysian flavours to the people of Sydney (once they have downloaded the app!).

      Like a lot of veggies, white rice is supposed to taste 'neutral' hence they mix well with most dishes!

        Agree. Having said that, quality of rice, and any infused flavours do make rice more interesting.

        Another dish is Hainanese Chicken Rice where the rice is cooked in a chicken stock, garlic, ginger and some fat trimmings

  Can't find any information on T&C. I hope it doesn't require a purchase to qualify like the free roti deal.

  It's happening! Look for the bright pink tent on the side of Castlereagh street. They are just setting up. Nearest entry point: Martin Place station.

      Actually, maybe not that long? It's single/double person queue starting at the stage behind the waterfall, going almost to in line with the the MLC food court entrance… Guessing at least 50 people…about 30 metres long??? My guestimate could be wrong though.

  I'm in the queue. They said 30 minute wait, have about 500 left. Edit: Moving quite quickly actually…took me about 20 minutes.

  I downloaded the app and was waiting for the verification email, but they gave me a token anyway. Still haven't gotten the verification email…

  It's relatively small. In a 10cmx15cmx5cm box. Probably need 2 or 3 to equal a normal lunch sized meal. Tasty but cold. But it's free! :)
