I bought it the day it came out and it already had population issues. Fantastic game but don't tell people it's "going strong", when the Australian population is tiny and you can basically only play Attrition (team deathmatch) because the other modes are dead.
It's just misleading, because people will get excited and then be disappointed when they see the population for multiplayer.
You really need to come back to the community and have a look at what developer has done.
A lot has changed in game search mechanism.
Basically the default search will bring you to random game modes. Not just Angel city Bounty / Attrition any more. In fact I hardly visit Angel city anymore. Been playing a lot more Pilot vs Pilot, Titan vs Titan, Free 4 all and loving it.
Game matching time remain the same if not improved.
Titanfall 2 is still going strong with new update 1.06 just rolled out yesterday. Last one released not long ago had a few new MP map and new ganme mode. This one has new MP map as well and a more balanced gameplay.
All update and map are free. There is no paid DLC no season pass.
Only optional microtransaction is for comestic purpose.
It is one of the most underated multiplayer FPS in 2016 and is here for the longhaul.
