All sold out of BR 45/46 (US12). So that kinda sucks…

    • +1

j4ck that is disappointing, this time around the sizes that was available were from BR41 > BR44 for Men's. Our apology for the disappointment.

  • +2

FYI: Only two colours available (Black and Turquoise (Bright blue)).

They have different sizing for men and women, but then dont actually say if these are men or womens thongs.

Only the smallest sizes available for Black (probably a womens size 8'ish)

Rest the the colours/styles on sale for $8 to $15 here:
    https://www.ozsale.com.au/ItemsList.aspx?cid=90&saleID=1zUOR…
(Where you can only get mens thongs in purple or white. Yay. /s)

    • They have different sizing for men and women, but then dont actually say if these are men or womens thongs.

Nope, check the size chart on the page, both men and womens size "39/40" is "25.5 - 26.5cm" :/

Hi BluBoy the items are actually categorized in three sections Women's, Men's and Kids that also comes with a size guide.
Our apology if there was any difficulty in locating the items or if it was sold out fast.

Great for midgets I guess? Nothing bigger than a size 11

    • +8

      Asian Sisqo with a lisp?
      The fong thong

  • Why are they trying to set up a recurring payment when I pay with PayPal?

    • +28

Subscription based thongs. Never worry about blowouts again.

      • LOL!

    • I just cancelled it after purchase. I assume it's so next time you purchase you don't need to login to PayPal, similar to Kogan's setup.

    • dm01 if you are referring to the payment being divided into four then that is our new payment method called "OurPay". The charges are divided into four cycles and instead of paying the whole amount at one go you can pay it part by part. If this is not what you are referring, you sure can send us a message with the details via this link http://ow.ly/LIhJ30b2BIz . Thank you

      • No I think it was just trying to save my paypal details or something - it wasn't "OurPay". It just used the word "subscribed" which seemed a bit unusual.

  • Never owned a pair of havaianas do you tend to go down a size from the EU size? https://www.havaianasaustralia.com.au/Size-charts

    • I have a pair already and find the sizings the same - I'm normally a 43 or 44 EU shoe size, and the 43/44 Havaianas fit me fine.

      • Uh oh..

  • Can't see any for that price OP.
    Expired?

    • +1

      Nope… I can see heaps.

      • link please?

      • Might be that I'm on a phone and not a PC

      • PC worked a treat!

  • +1

Can't see any either for that price.

    • As f4te said above, log in and then click on the link at the top of this OB page.

These are cheap made in China thongs… Just wait until winter and walk in to a Big W.

I got my Mambo's 3 years ago and they are STILL going strong

    • +1

All Havaianas are manufactured in Brazil so if they're made in China they're knockoffs

      • +3

Wouldn't be surprised coming from this retailer.

    • +3

Good Day Doktor S - the Havaianas are not cheap made china thongs. These are 100% Authentic direct from our suppliers to our customers just like all our products in OZsale. Now that the prices are quite reasonable, why wait any longer - you can shop with us right away. Happy weekend.

Thanks OP, need a pair to pass the Australian values test for citizenship. Any deals on Bintang singlets?

  • Thanks OP! Got one.

  • tiny feet sizes left :(

    165cm with US 10 feet :(

  • Only 41 and below left in the Blue

  • +8

Havaianas aren't worth $1 anymore, not even close to quality they once were.

The sooner people stop buying them the sooner the shitfull company addresses it.

    • +2

I saw some for sale in Aldi the other week and they just looked like standard thongs. Is there something that makes them vastly superior that people get excited about them?

      • +7

At one point the quality of build and material meant they lasted longer and retained their spongeyness longer. Im not sure but judging from comments this has gone downhill

      • +4

The Kmart brand outdoes 'em and actually look better.

      • +1

They were the first of that type of squishy rubber thong, back in the early 2000s they were great quality. No blow outs to speak of, I had a pair for 3 summers, I'd wear them in winter too. These days, I've not managed to see one last 1 summer. They're shit. I buy Reef, proper thongs, comfortable.

    • +1

The i had blowouts for the last 2 pairs of havaiana's I owned with the first year. I switched to Ipanema's which have lasted much better.

That said, I grabbed a pair here. For $4 I'll take the for a year!

  • +1

    Got a pair, thanks OP.

  • Thanks OP!

  • Got one too thanks OP

  • Hmm how are they going to make money out of this especially with free shipping?

    • +1

because the thongs are worth almost nothing.

  • cheers grabbed a pair.

  • As usual no 47/48s. ugh!

Anyone purchasing from this site, prepare to have your email address spammed multiple times a day with more "deals". I've already tried to unsubscribe once but am still getting emails from them.

    • If you have a complaint to make, this may help: https://complaint.acma.gov.au/Infiniti/Produce/wizard/61696d…

      • Second unsubscribe seems to have worked at this stage. Not a biggie for me as I use a disposable address when ordering from these kinds of places. Thanks for the link though :)

    • dm01 the daily mails are sent with all new sales for the day and the currents sale that are on going. Anyone can send a message via their Ozsale account > Contact Us option and request for unsubscribe and our Member Relation Agents will action it for you.

  • Got mine today :)

  • Mine arrived today - not sure these are genuine. I bought a pair from a surf shop 18 months ago in size 43/44 (also marked US10/11) which have been great. These OzSale ones also say 43/44, but are also marked as US11/12 and are a size bigger than my existing ones.

Is anyone else noticing a size discrepancy?

    • I have bought several pairs in the last few years in size 43/44 and some are bigger than others, the boxes they come in are also different even though they state they are made from the same place in Brazil. Don't know why, maybe different/newer models but they seem to made from the same material, have the same thickness and are just as comfy.

    • The sizes we have advertised and sold is exactly the sizes given to us by the suppliers. The option to view the size measurements are always located at each item, which would be named as "size guide".
