I have one of these prams, it is light, relatively compact and folds up easily. Would recommend. Not sure about the price, we got ours on clearance at HN big buys for $239

    • City Mini or Mini GT?

      • I'm not sure

        • It will say on the branding on the pram itself I think

    • I doubt that's the GT at that price

We have a city mini. Such a simple practical pram. Used to be alot cheaper before they got popular. If you look around on gumtree $150 should get you a good secondhand one. The non gt is good too, lighter and you don't have to inflate tyres.

You don't need to inflate the tyres on the GT either, they are not air-filled.

That is a great price for a new GT.

  • Has anyone had issues with the balance of this pram? Was thinking of getting it initially but then heard that it can tip backwards if you hang things on the handlebar..

    • It has tipped back on us before when we hung shopping bags on the handle bar.
But then it does warn you quite specifically to not hang bags off the handle bar.

My only issue with the pram is that it only has the single wheel at the front. Sometimes when you need to lift up the back wheels to get up a step, the instability makes it an awkward maneuver.

It's a back weighted pram so no bags should be hung from the handlebar. I have one of those hook clip thingies and sometimes attach my handbag or a light shopping bag and it's fine. The basket underneath can usually hold everything.

Paid $600 new for mine back in 2012 and it's still in good nick. It's the perfect pram for parents who CBF assembling shit for their kids.

    • We had this pram (Mini City GT) for 2 years now and it survived multiple overseas trip with our toddler and still going strong. Light and super easy to fold and can fit in the x-ray monitor in the airports (saved us time in the USA trip as they require pram to be checked everytime).

Regarding the tipping backward -> buy one of these hooks and it solves the problem, not a single incident for the past 2 years:

Overall this pram is much better than than our previous more expensive iCandy, only problem is that the basket is a bit small but i guess it taught us to keep only the important stuff in it.

we ordered ours from ebay.com delivered for around $350 back in the day when it usually sells here in Aus for around $500, so good deal here.

      • Thanks guys for the info!
