  Prefer the Garmin 235 with built-in HRM (ie not having to wear chest strap). Waiting for that to go on special again.

  Although for some, using the chest strap and getting "stride length, ground contact time and vertical ratio" would be helpful for their training.

    Oh I see, smartwatch makers are claiming that the devices can improve technique and people are swallowing it because magic.

      These devices provides information about your exercise. If you are a marathon runner needing to shed a min or two, you will need information about your training and running to help you get from 95% to 97%.

      If you are running at 60%, getting that 3-5% improvement with these devices is a waste.

  Does anyone know if this includes the chest strap, ie is this the bundle? or watch only? Site details say: "Package includes: HRM-Run monitor, Charging/data clip and Manual". It'll save me a trip to the store that's all.
