There are some disadvantages for HK STORE. they may publish major PSN games but some very violence games may not published on its store. If you are only play online game with game discs, then you are fine to this.

why don't you post it and why are you dislike my post?!

      • That's a fair point.

What?…. lol your argument makes no sense.. hahaha

what you will call for those people who share US/fr/de/jp amazon product at this site? you got a petty funny point.

Because this isnt really a deal when considered, Id has less restrictions a better exchange rate and can save you almost 1/3 off the bat. I didnt mean any offence i assumed that was what a downvote was for.

okay, you made your point. and I check Indonesian PS store. it says Rp 245,000 for 1 year ps plus. I try to convert it to AUD. guess what? it shows 4918.002 Australian Dollar. it seems google's glitch. I had fun for this post. lol

@armedgoat: That's because you've used 'Indian Rupiah' instead of 'Indonesian Rupiah'

        • @armedgoat: Pretty sure that's about $24 AUD at a rate of 10000 Indonesian Rupiahs per AUD dollar.

        • -4

@Roemac: Oh, dear. It's Google using 'RP' AS Indian Rupiah, not me! plus Indonesian PSN store uses RP as their currency abbr.

All these downvotes for providing a far better deal, seems legit.

    • How do you purchase it? using paypal with your PSN account? I am new to PS.

  • They were recently offering Bloodborne for free with yearly subs, (and Until Dawn and others before that) i guess that has ended?

    • +1

Its currently bundled with the new FF but that subscription is more expensive.

  • How do you purchase it? Last time when I was try using my credit card, it failed.

    • I googled PSN prepaid card to handle the problems. 400 HK dollar only 26 AUD.

      • So you mean we can even buy it cheaper by buying 400HK dollar credit?
215 HKD seems to be the yearly subscription for existing member.

        • 215HKD for current HK PS plus user. 188HKD for non PS plus HK user(including registered user without ps plus).

        • @armedgoat: My ultimate question is where did you get 400 HKD for 26AUD??

      • Please tell me where you get it as I don't see anyone selling at that price

        • not sure they still got one. but you can try google 'psn hk card gameflip'

  • Maybe a dumb question but my PS + expired today, would this (or the Indo one) work on my current AU account?

    • yes, you can get a HK PSN account activated as primary account for your PS4. then you can use your AU account play games online.

but there is one major issue. if you activated HK account as your primary account for your PS4, then those games downloaded on your AU PSN will be locked until you renew your AU PSN and activated it as AU PSN as your primary account on your PS4.

      • Its not really worth it… 50 bux different over 12 months is peanuts

    • you'll need an account "residing" in the region you are purchasing, but once one account has PS+ then any of the other accounts can use it.

  • The prepaid card usually sold expensive then your normal exchange rate. Still, it is cheaper than you would pay for PSN AU but it's really hard to get $26 AUD.

    • yes, it's hard to find nowadays. don't know how they sell it at such low rate.

  • Is performance of online gaming affected adversely with this? I would have thought that all data would be routed through Hong Kong/Indonesian server.

    • +1

performance is as the same as au psn. they use local network.
