This would have sold me instantly if the charge port was 1.5A or better, not 1A.
Still kinda nice I guess. There are some real beast 'no name' portable speakers though; makes it hard to commit even at 50% off.

Are Anker classified as a no name brand? Their stuffs a bit hard to find locally and many or all don't have AU power plugs, but they seem to be pretty common over in the US particularly for USB hubs and power products. They pop up all the time in my searches.

They're as 'no name' as any other chinese brand. Theres even tens of companies using the label now that they're popular.
@Smigit: I'd never heard of them. Probably not but It's a great speaker at that price point. I still got the Harman Kardon esquire 2 though from this deal as always had an affinity with them since I owned the jelly fish 2.1 setup.

Not bad for the price, but if you have more $ to splash, get a JBL Xtreme or HK onyx studio 3 or klipsch KMC 3.
I got the Onyx studio and kmc 3 for $145 each during one of the eBay sale.
