But its so old…..things have moved on a tad have they not, especially for a $300 Quad (sorry $198.00 or whatever) Ok I have only played with a JJRC H31 and perhaps baby stuff to most, but a fantastic learning Quad for only $40AU with lots of spares and a rather agile and nippy quad. It can move! Just wondering what this would offer me as a step ahead. I ask this as a question and not a criticism.
This on?

Worth a look is it?
I had the original parrot drone. Great fun but never really used it. Wouldn't mind a cheaper alternative.
That's the one. I only noted it as a cheap option into the world of drones for a beginner to learn the basics. It wasn't going to break the bank if it proved boring. For what one gets, I found it great, keeping in mind that I have nothing else to compare it to. Plenty of reviews out there. One does need spares (Batteries and propellers). Biggest hassle these days is getting spare batteries shipped to australia.
Good short review about it, http://www.dronesglobe.com/affordable-list/under200/
