I received an email this morning saying if I pay for purchases at the above stores using my Membership Rewards points, I'll get 15% off. The redeem rate after discount would be 11737 points for $100.

Purchase must be in the deal period and points must be redeemed within 60 days.

1. Offer available for purchases made at Harvey Norman, Witchery, Country Road, Myer and Nespresso between 15 March 2017 and 15 April 2017 on your American Express Card enrolled in the Premium Ascent, Ascent or Gateway Membership Rewards program. When you choose to pay off your eligible purchases with points at the participating merchants, you will be rewarded with 15% more value on your points. You must use Select + Pay with Points within two months of the eligible purchase appearing on your Card account to receive the added value. For this offer a minimum of $8.60 must be paid using Membership Rewards points in a single redemption for Select + Pay with points. For each successful transaction made with Select+Pay with Points, points will be debited from your Membership Rewards account and a credit placed on your Card in line with the points chosen to be used for the eligible charge. Any credit to your Card Account cannot exceed the amount of the relevant eligible charges or exceed the current outstanding balance. A credit will appear on your statement as 'Membership Rewards Credit'. Points will be debited immediately and the credit will take up to 72 hours to appear online. Credits processed after the Card Account's statement closing date will appear in the following statement. You are still responsible for payment of the amount due on your Card account by the due date. American Express will select and display each American Express charge for Select + Pay points ('Eligible Charge') and the promotional points rate required to pay for the eligible charge. Each eligible charge must: (a) appear within the Online statement of the Summary of Accounts page; or on the American Express Mobile App timeline (b) be redeemed within 2 months of the charge appearing on your Card Account; (c) not be a pending transaction (d) not currently or have previously been disputed; and (e) not be a fee. Select + Pay with Points is available only to Basic Card Members enrolled in the Membership Rewards program and is subject to the full Membership Rewards Terms and Conditions. Corporate Card Members, David Jones American Express Card Members, Authorised agents, authorised account managers and additional Card Members are not eligible.
