  • Are you sure it is not Surefire?

    • SingFire is engraved on mine

    • Surefire is the American brand that they're trying to imitate. Surefire also make gun silencers afaik

I bought a surefire AAA light (super bright) for $120. For $5 you're not getting surefire

I was joking around. Surefire is not known for its brightness, as many Chinese made torches could achieve, but rather it is known for its quality in workmanship, reliability, and durability.

        • Oh shit sorry! XD

OP, post a photo of the one that arrived and a few words why you like it in the comments here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/297200 and you might win a prize. The comp was my suggestion to the gearbest rep in another thread. At the moment, the odds of winning something are extremely high!

  • "Cree XPE R3" - Gross. The Nichia version is so much nicer (albeit twice the price)

    • Could you tell me why Nichia version is better?
      Thanks.

      • Nichia has a much more neutral colour output, and colours look more accurate. Once you've tried a nice neutral led it's hard to go back to cool white. My preference for neutral colour is subjective, but the colour accuracy is objectively better (usually at the expense of a little bit of output)

Just found this code for cheaper price:
SingFire SF - 348 180Lm Cree XPE R3 Mini Stainless LED Flashlight
    http://www.gearbest.com/led-flashlights/pp_131992.html
    price:AU$5.37/US$3.99
    coupon: MINIFIRE

  • Could I somehow attach this to my keys?

    • Maybe attach a lanyard? I'm going to etch it

    • If you haven't bought already, see if the rep gives a code for the Nichia version since that has a keyring on it already

      • Thanks for that info. Though it's $14 and shows as sold out, so I wonder if I'm better off with the Fenix E01 or the Klarus Mi02 instead.

  • I got something like this from DX, but they switches go on them
