Ever wanted to travel somewhere but were afraid you'll sound like a neanderthal to the locals, or you meant to say "where is the grocery store" but instead said "please spank me" by 'mistake'? What about the times you were sitting in your cubicle at work having an existential crisis, and then proceeding to decide that you want to do something more meaningful with your life, like traveling for instance? Or maybe you just like looking at pretty pictures like I do.

In any case, here's something to complement all the good travel deals we've been getting lately.

The code dropped some already discounted eBooks from $27.99 to $9.99, which is an odd 64.5% so it looks more like it drops them to a specific amount, usually being $10 from what I can see.

For '48 hours only' you can also get the Best in Travel 2017 for only $2. I can't see a date when that expires so unsure when '48 hours only' is.

The good thing about eBooks is that gypsies can't pinch them out of your pocket when you're traveling. They'll just pinch your flashy new iPhone instead while you're using the guide to figure out where the best croissants in town are.

Just confirmed, the code does give you free shipping !!!

      • Phew! I was worried they'll charge $5 per Mb and 12c per Kb thereafter or something on their eBooks.

However, my LP purchase two days ago has not yet tracked. Fortunately my visit to LP shows up in my TopCB click history. Usually TopCB tracks well. Claims I have made with TopCB have worked out. I may need to put in a claim this time for LP (need wait 7 days).

  • As a frequent budget traveller for many years, I'm not much into EBOOKLOVE.

And travelling with someone who accidentally (yeah, sure) says "please spank me" sounds more fun than a know-it-all because they read it in an (always outdated) guidebook😯

Was in Myanmar/Burma - heard too many travellers shouting abuse about prices being different to that in the latest LP😢

Travelers with too much expectation of a country can miss the most amazing & ephemeral things.

  • When i was last in Burma i asked this chick to "please spank me" and she sent me to the grocery store, where they spanked me. Boom.

    • I can see why you're Angry.

Very angry, now that i've realised i can only change this stupid name once every 12 months.

        • Haha… Don't drink and OzBargain…

        • I'll probably get kicked off before my 12 months is up anyway…
          Jesus, i do look angry.
