    • AU power plugs on all orders in stead of adapters ?

      • Hi Garage sale,

Thank you for your kind suggestion.

As I know,we currently have some au plug tv box,for something like earphone, they dont need au plug, right?

Is it possible you help me list the product catalog that you will need AU plug most?

Such as TV box? Some xiaomi cellphone wont need AU plug, right?

    • Hi Spackbace,

Thank you for your kind suggestion.

May I know which store from China that has met your expectation in this aspect for now?
I may need spend some time to study which shipping company they are using so we can learn from them.

      Thanks,

      Sunny

  • Hi rep,

I still havent received my order (W1611211726180634) from Nov last year, could you please check and let me know what happened?

    Thanks

    • Hi homersyd,

I am Sorry to hear that.

FYI,I have informed my colleague gina about this and cc you,pls check this with your mail box.

      Sunny

      • thanks for following up for me…saw your email :)

  • A high end android tablet or two would also be a nice addition thanks.

  • Looking forward to buy couple of items. Whats the normal shipping time ?

    • +3

1 month to infinity and beyond!

Personally 1-2 months from experience delivered to Sydney

      • Up to 1 month for me with free postage option.

    • I would suggest paying a little extra and buy from another site such as banggood.com. My orders from GearBest took more than a month and one did not arrive even after 2 months. Then you have to put a bad common on a deal to get it sorted.

      • you can always contact me here or our support for solve your order issue.

    • Hi sanju1304,

      FYI:

      For Expedited Shipping like DHL,it usually take 3 - 7 business days;
      For priority line,it shall be 7 - 15 business days;
      For Registered Air Mail,it may take 10 - 25 business days;
      For Unregistered Air Mail,which will need 15 - 35 business days;

  • Can you please explain why it takes so long for you to deliver items once they have been bought? Is it pure laziness?

    • Well they are cheap and from China, of course shipping is slow. Nothing to do with lazy.

      • So the country China is an excuse for taking a long time? I've had plenty of things delivered from China and they don't take 3 months to arrive. Just because something is cheap is no excuse as well.

        • +3

I agree - I've bought stuff from most of these Chinese online retailiers (Aliexpress, Banggood etc) and Gearbest are by far the slowest.

        • @klaw81:
its because they have to make the product based upon demand and they wait till they have 1000 units of demand. Than the production starts. Got a couch set from china as its cheaper and i wanted a specific colour, i have to wait 5 months for it.

        • If a order still havent arrive you after two month, you should contact the store for refund or reship, for normal case, order wont take 3 months to Australia.

        • @Christy Bambi:

          Hi Christy,

FYI,the deals I prepared for you are all with stock.

It seems that you think we have a big factory to make product for you?

The truth is we all (Aliexpress, Banggood etc) get stock from suppliers.

      • +1

It also because Australia has too big land and too small population.

It usually is very far for one courier to delivery one package to one family and then next family.

For my city, one courier usually could delivery one car package to one department,we live very close to each other.
Okay, this is just my opinion,we all know China has large population.

      • They are drop shippers, they never see the product or handle the product, just the middle person. You can buy further up stream to save time and get a lower cost

        • If you only want to buy one stock from the supplier, they wont give you the lower cost.

    • +4

silly, they're anniversary deals - you celebrate if you receive it after a year

    • +1

The real reason stores like this are slow is they generally don't actually stock anything.

These type of online "shops" are just frontends for thirdparty sellers, who then "dropship" the orders when/if they actually manage to scrape together some stock (at the cheapest price).

The reason stores like this feel like they are giving you the run around and never answer questions on stock levels or dispatch dates, is because they actually have idea and is completely in the hands of the thirdparty supplier/seller.

I would love to find an honest Chinese seller…but it seems like that I'd have better luck pulling a rabbit out of my ass.

      • +1

For what it's worth, my 3-4 orders from Banggood have always been delivered promptly, and without any fuss.

        • "+" for that. I have placed many orders with them and always received within 3 weeks. Whereas this mob, always took more than a month.

      • Here is the situation:
When we plan to run some deals,we will prepare some stock first and then set code,of course the code will be shared on deal site, coupon site or some other media sites,
we can control the orders amount from codes, but we cant control orders that from store, some customer may just find the item on our store and like so just buy it without code, hence this will lead to oversold, then some orders may need wait new stock for shipment.

anyway,we are doing something from technical or self-control to improve this, also you can find that I have never post deals that under presell.

        welcome your advice for us.

    • I suspect that it's got more to do with surface mail v airmail. Back in the days that Auspost offered surface mail, the standard delivery time to many countries was up around the 3 month mark. Often though, if they had spare space in an air cargo container, they'd fill it with surface mail items, which would arrive in a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, that created an expectation that surface mail would always arrive quickly.

      • Yes shipping is slow…but it is also the delay to actually getting the item shipped.

This is why even when people pay for the 'express' option, it is often still slow with these sites. Ever notice people complaining about tracking numbers not working? It's because they make the numbers up, to lead the customer on and give them more time before the customer opens a PayPal dispute.

Ethics are lost on these people.

    • It has to do with some stores using freight consolidation ……Load container and give to Australia Post in AU. Makes cheap postage …… It's interesting how postal services charge each other to deliver in other countries

    • Hi bennybaubles,

you can choose different shipping method for different delivery time.

  • Is the Xiaomi Note 4 international version have B28? also is it dual sim 4g/3 or 4g/2g? on the description it is not clear. doesnt have B28 but since it says international version thought i'd ask.

    • version 3 aka Kate is B28, can get for A$200, usually around $210

  • MEIZU EP-51 special please?

    • Hi MasterScythe,

Sorry to inform you that we dont have stock for MEIZU EP-51,it is OOS now.(;′⌒`)

  • fwiw I've always received my orders from gearbest (about a dozen in total). Not the fastest, but my expectation is low. Don't buy from China if you're in a hurry.

  • Hi rep, any chance of a special on Xiaomi Mi5?

  • A treasure hunt on the Gearbest site.
Set up a single use discount code that will give $50 off a specific item priced just under $50. Give a few hints about the item.
Whoever can find the item and apply the code gets it free.

Conveniently that leaves a $50 voucher for the person with the best idea :)

    • Hi mckennal,

Thank you so much for your such great idea!

To better confirm this, pls see my understanding for this:

Step 1- Firstly, make a $50 off discount code on a specific item

Step 2- The item need under $50?
PS:How about let's make the discounted price at $0.01?

step 3- then I shall write some description words, such like brand is xiao mi、you can use it to listen to music,
so you will guess it could be xiaomi headphone, then you will use the code to try,if it works, you win and you will get the headphone at $0.01,right?

Pls feel free to fix my error.

      Thanks,

      Sunny

PS:Yes,I will leave you a $50 voucher, pls let me know which item you want to use the $50 voucher for? pls pm me with the item link and your GB account,so I can apply that special discount for you.

      Cheers! :)

      • Your understanding is correct. Your suggestion of making step 2 come down to $0.01 is fine. Sounds like a good promo.

I'll PM you my gearbest account and item. Thanks.

        • Cheers!

  • Hi Rep, I'd like to suggest a photo and limmerick contest. The photo has to show our favorite items purchased from gearbest and a limmerick / short humerous poem about why its our favorite gearbest buy. I'm not great at poetry, but I'm sure we'll all get a laugh given how clever my ozbargain users are at using puns and making other jokes.

    • Hi newdad,

Thank you so much for your kind suggestion.

Judging from your description,we need do following things to play this game?

1-Take photos of your favorite items purchased from gearbest

2-limmerick / short humerous poem about why its your favorite gearbest buy.

      Dear newdad,here are my questions:
1-how shall I do to choose the winner?

2-How many winner there shall be?

Looking forward to your further instructions.

      Sunny

      PS:Of course you shall get $50 voucher,too.
pls pm me with the item link and your GB account,so I can apply that special discount for you.

      • Hi Sunny,
The winner could be whoever you judge to have the cleverest entry or the entry that best reflects Gearbests values. My suggestion is that Perhaps you and a few of your colleagues in Gearbest HQ could vote on which one wins. Entries should be about having fun, so don't make the judging prices too formal. Them you would be free to award the entries made you laugh most, best representa what Gearbest stands for as an organisation etc. Who knows, you could even pick up some marketing ideas or slogans.
I would suggest a first prize and perhaps 2 runners up.

        • Hi newdad,I am about to run a competition as you suggested.
since this is my first time to do so,could you pls kinldy help me to choose winners?
so this shall be fair for other members.

For the first time to do this, how about we make 3 winners since it is Gearbest 3rd Birthday?

would you be okay to pm me so we can discuss details to make this more fun?

          Thanks,

          Sunny

        • @gearbest: your first winner is here… Its me..

        • @pyramid:

          We havent start yet.

        • @pyramid:

Chere here for the competition that newdad suggested!

  • What is best price for the xiaomi 1080p camera and the Bluetooth headset ausdom?

  • Gearbest,
The Xiaomi camera says " Alarm Notice: Email Photo ".
Which is EXACTLY what I want.

However, when I watch and read reviews, it says it only supports its own app, and push notifications.

    This is confusing as hell!

Is it the right camera for me? Or is it junk, if you dont want to run apps, or run Windows Phone \ Blackberry?

    • Hi MasterScythe,

      Sorry for late reply.

Your question stumped me,I need confirm with our product department first then reply you.

Sorry for keeping you wait,I will back to you next Monday.

      Have a lovely weekend!

      Sunny

  • I honestly thought the $10 phones were a great idea, didn't get one but it was still fun and got a few other things anyway. Otherwise perhaps instead an instant win competition would be cool.
