All my 4 Sunbeam electric blanket controllers malfunction after 18 months. Cost almost the same amount to replace. Never again buying into their electric blanket.

Thanks OP. I did not buy Sunbeam. Have read a lot about their unreliable products on forums.
But I bought Breville electric blanket (https://m.myer.com.au/shop/mobile/mystore/breville-home-body…) which is more expensive but reliable and is discounted too.

I dont understand how these are machine washable? Doesnt the coil in them get rusty?
