go the 75 for $2500 flat. both good guys and JB have done it for that including delivery. More likely to have stock of the 75 over the 70 too.
There is also this UHD 70" model at $1779/-

just bought Hisense 65M7000 from JB, great price even i know the lowest is $1475?
How much did you end up paying for the 65"?
$1614 i went to store and checked the quality. Quite surprised it looks not bad comparing to Sony and Samsung TVs
Is it as good as the Sammy or Sony? Taking away the price that is
@Twisty: probably not. But 3yrs warranty, why not give a try.
Will c how it works.
Picture looks vivi n bright. Tried some sport channels and it works quite smooth.Sounds good
Just been reading on whirlpool that the HDR on Hisense TVs isn't very good with XBOX ONE S, PS4 or Netflix
That's a pity as I really want HDR to pop
@Twisty: is that the HDR on the 70 or 75. Anyone else have comments in regards to HDR on the 75. Thinking of pulling the trigger
@Regie69:
Think it's both mate
I'll buy when the 75 is under 2k. Prices seem to come down $500 every 3-6 months
They don't quite drop that much. And there is a bottom limit. This may never drop below 2k
The new models are expected to drop soon so this is quite likely clearing them out so they may drop a little more but likely to be very little stock if it ever did hit 2K.
When is the new models coming out?
Doesn't the 70 inch tv have local dimming while the 65 and 75 inch TVs don't?
If that is the case then this would be the one to get.
I'm not looking at tv's - but I think it's something I read recently. I might be wrong.
I think the difference is edgelit vs backlit
Doesn't that mean backlit is local dimming?
Hisense M7000 Panel info
50/55/65: Samsung (Edge-lit/10bit/100Hz/400 nits)
70: Sharp (Direct-lit/10bit/50Hz/330 nits)
75: INX (Edge-lit/8bit/100Hz/400 nits)https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=2511995&…
Always trade offs I guess, looks like the 65" would be the sweet spot
I thought I read on the 75" Hisense Post on OZB that the panel was back kit and not edge and it's HDR 8bit but with something that makes it 10bit???
Slightly cheaper at Harvey Norman $2119…
Same price @ jb
