I've had a Sansai power board fail on me, they aren't quality. On mine, it had an illuminated power switch, and the transparent plastic of the switch broke off, exposing the bare contacts of the neon bulb. One of my family members was nearly electrocuted.

While this board doesn't have an illuminated switch, it does have always-on USB ports. Buyer beware, Sansai's stuff doesn't seem to be made with safety in mind.

It looks like it actually does have an illuminated switch as per the photos.

      Edit:
      Master indicator & switch
      Yup has an illuminated switch.

They have recalled powerboards sold before. You can find this brand in those $2 shops. It is a cheap brand that most likely will fail safety check.

That's what I was thinking. I don't mind cheapie things for certain uses, but yeah seen other Sansai products in those $2 shops and wouldn't trust it for this sort of usage. Cheapie basic adapters and RF cables or whatever, maybe even a basic double adapter, sure, but probably not an 8-outlet powerboard!

The one recalled was a connexia powerboard.

I would stay away from COTD with their power board offerings. The last one I bought from them exploded literally scared the shit out of me. Luckily my pc is ok. I'd just stay with APC boards.

I'd suggest not sitting on your PC anyway…
