I think because QLD/WA Normally get 9 for 9.95, they get an extra promo this month which is cheap as chips.

They put chicken salt; you had them with no salt at all? That seems to be a mistake unless you specifically asked for it…
Dont think theyve ever given me salt, I now ask for 'extra salt' but i think there tickling my balls and give me mash potato in a box. I normally go drive thru however went in once and was the best chips ive ever had.
I ask for no salt there is enough chicken salt and msg on the chicken already.
There is really something wrong here.
KFC chips are have a very specific taste and a lot of people would complain if they started giving out chips with nothing on them.
Either you don't know what their seasoning which includes salt tastes like or there is something very wrong at the store you are going to.
I don't mind plain salt but I find the chicken salt tastes like sucking on a stock cube and over powers the taste the chicken

My alternative was primarily to that, and not to the OP. Neither jdogg or myself were proposing something BETTER than the deal, simply some alternatives that allow punters to assess the "true value" of the promo deal.

The point is that there are similar (no, not better) alternatives to this "SUPER SPECIAL LIMITED TIME, SOME STATES ONLY DEAL" that are available every day from a standard KFC product.

If you use the app you can swap the potato and gravy for any sides. I swapped them for 2 x 1.25L drinks.
