    Pringles USED to be great.

    • +2

USED Pringles are not great though.

      • +1

        Great Pringles are used though.

for $1, I can do with some USED greatness

Did I suffer from a major growth or pringles went suddently smaller?

  • +2

Even if this was free, I wouldn't eat it, it's not even just about the size shrinking being an issue, but the pringles in stores literally taste like shit now. I have resorted to just eating the coles branded ones.

    • Malaysian potatoes

    • Yeah pringles really shot themselves in the foot with this one. I used to try the unbranded/cheapo branded 'pringles' but never liked them as they were most often malaysian made, with different ingredients/quality, and different chip thickness.

Now Pringles are producing exactly the same quality as their competitors - with less chips in the tube and at double the price! Way to ssquander a brand in the name of 'savings', Procter & Gamble.

Yep, it's so stupid lol like, ruin your entire brand in one go. At least arnotts has a million other products to fall on when they screwed up Shapes. All of these companies are having a hard time understanding the 'if it ain't broken, don't fix it' it rule.

Like Kraft (now Mondelez) with Cadbury's. It will be interesting to see how Bega handles Vegemite.

          Inflation.

      • Proctor and gamble don't own pringles any more.

  • These would be the original made in USA ones

  • I think there is a similar type of chips in cans they sell in Woolworths ($2), also made in Malaysia, but tastes way better than the current Pringles. The Malay Pringles taste horrible, tbh it does not even taste like potatoes

Of course they don't. Real potatoes are soft not crispy.

      • Real potatoes are neither soft or crispy

        • The ones I eat are. Soft that is. Depends how you cook them.

Chips though are always crispy, never soft.

  • get fat for $1 instead of $3 i'm in. I guess I can lose that weight making my way to reject shop and finding the holy grail

        • @fujay:

I guess seeing the sister twice in a month won't hurt.

      • Should be four flavours - supreme cheese, nacho cheese, sour cream and onion, original

        • Lol I went back today to get the cheese supreme. Aren't the sour cream and onion just the traditional Pringles not these tortilla ones?

        • +1

@CVonC: lol Nah however they were disgusting
