Pringles Revolting!

I just purchasers the original Pringles from Coles, after having it in my basket I noticed the change in size, I tried not to believe my eyes and maybe I was deceived. Upon opening the contents what i saw was shrunk chips! And worse, the flavour!! Disgusting sour taste for original flavour. Does anyone know where I can still buy the old ones? And if Pringles are gonna change it back?

That was 3 weeks ago, not sure what if any would be left now.

Some flavours have also been spotted in Reject Shops (especially the Xtra Fiery and Chicken ones).

Pringles is dead to me now

If this rebellion continues, it could spread to the other potato based snacks. Quash it at once!

  • Made in malaysia now. Yuk.

Would you like it more if it was made in a country with more white poeple?

      • yes.

      • I'm not white, but yes please.

      • Dunno why you're so offended. Asians are just too careless with their food.
It's pretty clear that you're asian.

    • You just changed the definition of 'taste' in my mind. I really hate the new taste as well but I based it on the the sensation of flavour perceived in the mouth and throat on contact with the substance. Now I know just reading the label should suffice.

Also according to Choice Magazine "the new Pringles contain nearly 60% more saturated fat than before, with a whopping 15.1g/100g, up from 9.5g/100g".

They changed the recipe because people consumed more of the new recipe.

Yummy dopamine inducing behavior changing saturated fat!

  • Changing the price and size is one thing, but the over kill with its flavour. Does this mean the Americans will also get this dreadful package and taste in the future?

  • The extra potato makes the pringle super thick, it's not thin and crunchy anymore :(
Goodbye pringles, it was good while it lasted

  • They're trying to make it so that once you pop you CAN stop

  • I tried the new Pringles last night after holding off for a long time. I didn't like the new size or taste so won't be buying them again.

  • buy the generic ones (Coles, Woolies, Aldi).
From memory they were made in USA, original larger size (that you can get your hand into the container), and filled nearly up to the brim.

The Pringles ones i bought on special this week from Coles, it was around 3/4 full (as well as being smaller container and smaller chip)

    • I might give that a go.

The last time I tried generic "pringles" I didn't like them. I can't remember which brand I tried. I'll check the packaging for the made in USA.

Vege Chipsare the only major brand I'd consider now. Made in Queensland by an Australian owned company and has much lower fat than other chips.

  • We both felt ill after eating our Pringles recently. Will never purchase them again.
